la Madeleine

Food was brought out and they forgot the country potato soup and the single shot of espresso. The server proceeded to ask if the espresso was hot or iced- an iced shot of espresso does not exist. The soup was brought out cold, the espresso plate was not cleaned, and, to top it off, on the plate was a live baby roach. Appetite was instantly ruined.

We went today on November 11th, 2022.
Marvelous. Fresh green onion and chicken and spinach Omelette for lunch. Side of fresh cold melon and berries. Such a friendly staff.

Fun and like a cafeteria.
The wait area that the menu is in and the hoards so people standing around waiting to figure out what to order us a bit much sometime.
The food is good.

The hot chocolate was brown water. The spicy tomato kale soup was so bitter my husband couldn't finish it (and he eats everything) they messed up my entree and by the time they got it right my husband was done eating and ready to go. The mushroom soup was good.

French roast coffee was very weak, lukewarm and the cream was curdled.

Great place. Food is really and not pricey! Love the atmosphere.

I'm a regular here in the mornings. I live in Mandeville, and typically work from home. As a content and technical writer, I can get a lot done with the wonderful soft kitchen sounds in the background and the easy going environment here. The staff is excellent, very attentive and deliver service you'd find in an upscale restaurant. The manager, Chris, runs a well managed operation. The facility is always meticulously clean, the food is hot and plated well, baked goods are always plentiful and fresh. This LeMadeleine is my favorite, even after traveling and spending time in dozens of them. Show up for breakfast between 8-9AM, as it starts to get busy around 11 or so. Even with crowds, the store runs efficiently and calmly. 5 Stars!

Love the tomato basil and the onion soup.. and bread w butter.. and of course the desserts... Will be back... Sat at the fire.. it was a wonderful date with my husband... Thank u

It's okay, I was quite disappointed in this La Madeline. I have been to several as I LOVE the place but this one was not too good. Restroom was filthy, one seat was broken, other one I didn't even want to touch, quality of food was lower than normal, but staff was courteous. I brought my husband since he had never been before, and he wasn't impressed. We have alot of the same tastes in foods and restaurants, so it was disappointing. Also the coffee tasted strange, kind of burnt, and we added flavor, but no flavor occurred. I had to ask for more, didn't really help. Nothing like what I experienced in the past.

Nice selection of pastries and cakes, including Sacher and Coconut Cream Pie. Nicely decorated, warm colors. The fire place is cozy.

Had french onion soup and spinach/strawberry/ bacon/ feta salad. The mushroom soup is also tasty. Prices average. Salads are made when ordered, not sitting around. I visit this restaurant frequently.
