Filicori is the best! I come here every single morning for coffee and it's always delicious and the staff is amazing-- Claudia and Brenda are my favorite baristas! Very welcoming environment-- great place to get some work done or bring a friend for coffee!

I'd love to be able to tell you how their coffee is, but since the women working behind the counter refused to wear a mask, I left. I'm in healthcare and after the sacrifices I've made, seeing a worker in a cafe completely unwilling to comply with the mask mandate this county smartly put into place to protect people, I can't give my money to a business who doesn't support that goal. I'd love to hear back from the owner that they've fixed this issue.

Can't beat this place. I've gone to the NYC locations and purchase their coffee online and internationally. Best cafe in the area. Very cool special drinks. My favorite is the Italian Dark Chocolate with 2 shots of espresso.
Tea selection is very good as well. They serve the tea with a teapot of hot water, a glass cup, and in a tray. Everything is Filicori brand here, which is cool (reusable cups, napkins, sugar packets, stirrers, etc. Included).

Best coffee we've had in Montgomery County, and although the first time the pastries good, have downgraded from 5 to 3 stars because consistently after that time the pastries have been subpart (while very expensive).
Update 03/23/2022: downgrading stars for the second time.
Got a wonderful macchiato today. Decided to give the pastries another chance ... Wrong decision! Ordered what was supposed to be a chocolate danish ... Got a cinnamon (loaded with it) croissant. I used to like cinnamon, but most pastries in the US apparently have to have it and erase any other flavors--I want to taste something else. So a pastry overloaded with cinnamon, and a mistake from the server on what I was getting is too much.

I absolutely love this coffee shop. It's in a great location, parking is on the street and it says you can park there for 2 hours max, but you can park there as long as you want, they don't tow. It's always clean, the baristas and owner are very nice people. The coffee is really great, and they make little drawings in your cappuccino. I love this place, it's good for studying, dates and catching up with friends.

I really want to like the place more and so I go back and try it again and again, but with the same result. The staff I find to be generally aloof and just going through the motions; I’m not wowed by the (pricey) food either. The coffee is very good...authentic Italian. A med to light roast IMO but not always worth the steeper price for some of the beverages, $4.70 for a cappuccino! It’s upscale swanky for a coffee shop and in quasi Potomac though, I get it.
The dining area is pleasant and inviting and always very clean. Best of all there is at least one electrical outlet at every table, easy peasy if you are toting a laptop or need some extra juice for your phone. Oh and the outdoor seating space is very pleasant too!
