A standard Americano is 1:1 espresso to hot water. Not here. I ordered a large which I'm guessing was a 16 oz cup. The large comes with 2 shots. Add 2 shots of water to that you get the right ratio at about 4 oz. Fill the rest of that cup with hot water and you have....brown water. If you aren't bothered to provide a good quality product like the proper ratio of espresso to water in a large, don't sell it.

Great drink and food options. The brand can be a little pricey, but other than that I've had nice experiences at the cafe.

If this place wasn't inside a library it would have went out of business long ago. This is the first time I've had a bad coffee from a Sweetwater's, and it wasn't just bad. It was like dishwater and the guy making it took over 10 minutes for the one drink and after all the ice melted he topped it off with more ice (iced caramel latte). Avoid this place if possible. I feel bad for the poor victims that use this library, they deserve better.

Feels like this place will become a random memory of my life for no particular reason. Good food

Went here for the first time today and got a matcha latte. It was pretty good, but I don’t think matcha is for me. Can’t wait to go back and try something else. Steve and Daymeon were rock stars! I just wanted to give them a shout out and hope they have a great day.

Most consistent Sweetwaters if you’re looking for a Dreamy

Worst coffee and customer service in Ann Arbor. Yuck

Went in for breakfast and the girl was not very pleasant. Quite rude. As I was putting my mask on, she rudely told me to put my mask on before I came into the store. Should have left at that moment. No smiles and she was very poorly dressed. While we were ordering, she received a phone call and was rude to the person on the phone. It was her tone of voice that was so rude. Coffee tastesd burnt and the egg and cheese bagels were extremely bland and chewy. No napkins were offered with our food as is customary for restaurant takeout.

Adding a sweet waters to the library at west gate was inspired. The library has become a real community hub on the west side, and its fantastic that a local coffee shop rather than a national chain has set up shop. My kids are learning to place orders and give tips there. Less bohemian than downtown, but a stronger local element than downtown as well. Thanks for imagining this!

This is one of my favorite places to study! Lots of families come here, so it's a nice change of pace from most student-saturated study venues in the Ann Arbor area. The coffee is great and the staff is even better, always willing to help and make sure you get what you like.
