I love Common Cup! Great quiet place to study in the hill area. They're a part of Flocktag so every 10 coffees you get a free one. You can sit down and study surrounded by their rotating art on the walls - which are available to buy! In the lower level of a church, they have board games and puzzles for those who wanna hang out too. I have never had a noise issue here when I really needed to focus. They play soft chill background music.

Really cute! It's like inside/next to an old church so it's a really unique atmosphere, kinda Gothic in a way? Their Chai lattes are wonderful :D

Loved this little hide out on Washtenaw that's underground, shares premises with a church and provides a great place to chill or just hangout and work or study. Low traffic (although that could've been a result of Saturday post-game timing) on the afternoon and good cafe menu.
Lots of board games to play with while you visit, like Cultivate in Ypsi (but nearer, hence walkable by A2 students) and good staff. We ordered a mocha, chocolate milk and a cortado respectively and all were good👍🏻

The Common Cup is the nicest cafe by the campus of University of Michigan. It is always clean, and the staff is personable. The food and beverages they serve has always been fantastic, and it always has a wonderful atmosphere. I really enjoy having meetings, and collaborative work here.

Everything is good about the place except for the coffee I took. I ordered a café o lait and I could barely taste any coffee in it. Service and ambience is great!

For some mysterious reasons I’m always productive when I work here. Considering how close to campus it is it’s kind of amazing you can always find parking here. Coffee is good, too. They also have many board games. People do a lot of interviews here.

Favorite place to study on campus. Coffee is great, service is friendly, and the environment is chill. Lots of seating and never too busy--I come to escape the bustle of campus and downtown. Definitely recommend it!

This cafe is fantastic! The quality of the coffee is outstanding, the atmosphere is clean and quiet (it's more like a lounge), making it the best place for work/study! The WiFi is super fast also :o
Moreover, they offer special discount for first-time customers :)
I wish I knew this place earlier...
