Superior Cafe

This was simply a fantastic place. My wife and I stopped in on a visit to see family. I was absolutely giddy that I was able to get Ethiopian coffee. We're from Kalamazoo and have several roasters here that are excellent but I was just blown away by the coffee as well as the two gals working there on the 6th! Highly recommended to all.:-)

Nice coffee joint! Friendly staff, roomy a d welcoming atmosphere! Moved to Texas for a couple years... Back then, there was only Superior Roasting. Glad Mr. Kurnic could grow even bigger with such a beautiful shop! Best wishes for he and this awesome shop!

Cold brew wasn’t very strong and their egg sandwich was ok…cute atmosphere though :)

Love this place! The baristas are friendly and helpful and the place is clean. This is a great hang out spot. We had fresh roasted coffee, a chai latte and a white chocolate mocha. Great tasting and great service! Highly recommended if you are in the area!

Best coffee in town at reasonable prices. Not loaded with sugar, all kinds of different roasts. The staff are friendly and quick with a recommendation --though a little more description of the drinks on the menu would probably take the load off of them.

Love love this one!! Great food, great people and atmosphere for all ages!! We brought our dad who is 91!! Would definitely recommend and we will be back!!

My husband and I were up in the U.P. with our kids for a family winter vacation and stopped in at Superior prior to tobogganing. My husband and I both got the Butter Beer Latte. :) HOLY DELICIOUS! The atmosphere was pretty cool and we loved looking at all the trail ideas. We got our boys hot chocolates and they were super happy as well!

The three staff members who were working (Jordan, Bree, Cort) were phenomenal!!! Keep these 3 around! This is a great place. The staff makes the environment very enjoyable and relaxing. thank you!!

Excellent coffee, Latte and Smoothies. Also Blueberry muffins very good. The veggie bagel sandwich was delicious. Definitely will return in the future.

I wanted to like this place more. We were from out of town and wanted to try their pasties. We ordered two breakfast pasties. It turns out that the gentleman who took our order, took a similar order before us. The other order was one traditional and one breakfast pastie. When they called out the two breakfast pasties, we grabbed them and noticed that the gravy was not included. Instead it was bechamel sauce. When we asked to change the sauce. The lady had somewhat of a come apart. She kept telling the guy who took the order that he didn't stack the containers properly. We explained that all we need is a container of gravy that is already prefilled in a clear cup. She insisted that she correct the other customer's order before she grabbed that prefilled cup. So around five minutes later we were offered the cup. We had already eaten the pasties (which were inbiasedly dry) because they had already gotten cold. When you have issues like that, handle them more discreetly and fix the current issue, as it isn't the customer's fault that it was places improperly.
