An excellent local tea and coffee roaster. Atmosphere is comfortable and staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Bean and leaf selections are large, diverse, and would likely surprise a variety of palates. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Lincoln.

Always a great place to bring your phone, tablet or laptop and chill will a great cup of coffee or hot chocolate. Has always been a nice place to meet and visit with a friend... catching up or just chilling together. Employees are always friendly and willing to make you what ever you want, the way you want it. I love the smell of coffee!! And it's close to home so I can feel like I got away but not have to travel far. 2 thumbs up!

This is the shop that got me into real coffee. Starbucks is gross, sugary garbage once you start going to places like this. I've been to a couple other shops in town, but this one has the best scenery. The Haymarket area somehow provides a warmth that the rest of down town cannot. The covered, raised patio is enormous and my favorite spot to sit and sip.

Rated #1 best coffee house in Lincoln in 2018, this coffee and tea shop has high quality beverage options. Their drip coffee was smooth from well-roasted beans and the tea (I ordered their Dung Ti Oolong) was rich and expertly steeped. The ambiance is quaint and the rooms are quite spacious with plenty of tables for casual and serious study.

My wife and I get coffee at the Mill quite regularly. We enjoy sitting outside and people watching. The dock is great for this! We have been noticing over time though, that the furniture on the dock is, seemingly, never washed. The arms of the chairs are quite greasy and make you want to go wash your hands regularly.
I usually only get one type of drink there (which is why I regularly frequent certain places, because I like that one thing). I will, occasionally get just coffee though...and regret it. The coffee they serve in the pots is usually quite terrible.
The Mill, please clean your dock furniture!

The Mill was a great place to gather for a meeting. It was not loud or over crowded. My fiance and I met our wedding photographer here and it was a perfect place to meet and their coffee was amazing! Definitely recommend.

Stopped by for an after dinner espresso, walked out with the most delicious Cafe Mocha. Great recommendation and great coffee! 5/5

Great coffee and tea location, but the dress code is a little bit to grungy for my liking. Employees walking around with half their shirt hanging over the shoulder like a toga isn't appealing. I want to go to a coffee shop, not a gothic safe house for battered millennials. I'm not judging a book by it's cover. But I enjoy an atmosphere where I can come and enjoy a sit down. Otherwise I've got nothing else to complain about. At least the barista who served us was polite.

One of the original coffee shops in Lincoln. They roast their own coffee. Seating indoors and outdoors. Great selection of loose-leaf tea. They have goodies to eat, a selection of music and gifts. They used to have a selection of boardgames to play. This is a popular place for students from the university.

The Mill is a great coffeehouse in The Haymarket. The atmosphere is pleasant and most generally quiet. It's close to UNL, so there are quite a few college students that happen to go there to study or socialize.
A nice selection of coffee and teas. I don't know the day they do it, but there is a coffee roaster in the front area of The Mill. I would guess the smell on roasting day is pretty magical!
