Yummy warm banana nut muffin, with a smile! Customer service is always fast and accurate.
The dining area and (ladies)restroom is always clean. No coffer purchased this trip.
However the past Java is always delicious.

THIS IS NOT A FRANCHISE STORE. That being said, the place is so clean, the staff is friendly, and this family run business does a phenomenal job! The franchise stores should use this place as an example. I dont know why but the coffee taste better here than all the others.

The coffee is a little pricey, but well worth the cost. I'm willing to say that it is better than Starbucks, and Dunkin Donuts.

Staff did great at helping where they could with the hurricane. Being as I have plenty of friends in the Hampstead area I am greateful for that.
As for the service and coffee. For a little bit over a year I worked in Hampstead. There was a point my company was moving, I was fixing up the new office around it's early stages of being put together.
With no time for breakfast nor my own coffee in the morning this location offered very quality service and goods. Anything you get for breakfast is a right move and I personally recommend the wraps!

Love the Hampstead cafe. I can’t start my work day off without stopping by here first. I’ve had some complicated orders at times and they have always been very patient with me. They are more than baristas, they are family!!

Both the coffee and the tea were served loaded with sugar. Not my thing, I prefer to be asked before being served diabetes in a cup.

Always love visiting Port City Java! I've been visiting the Hampstead location for years and have consistently received friendly service with tasty drinks & sweet treats.

This is an awesome location & chain. Great coffee drinks, but my favorite treat is the Mocha Shake. Decadent, rich and extremely satisfying. HIGHLY recommend. :)

The coffee at this location is much weaker than other PCJ locations and in some cases has been like coffee flavored hot water. However, sometimes it's fine. I would say this location is inconsistent. I've been going to PCJ since their 1st store opened in Historic ILM many years ago. This location just isn't a great representation of PCJ as a whole..but it is a relaxing atmosphere and I live the location.

I ordered their Carmello Leche with soy milk, which is supposedly their caramel machiatto equivalent. Ive always been a Starbucks fan and figured I would give this a shot since it's a local company. HUGE mistake. The drink was awful... The espresso tasted burnt and the overall flavor was not pleasant. I took a few sips and could not stomach anymore so I threw it out. Maybe it was just the Batista that day, but at almost $5 a drink, I'm not sure I can afford to "treat" myself and have a similar experience. I will go back to my normal Starbucks caramel machiatto where I know it will be good.
