Atomic Coffee

Americano was good, bagel was a smaller variety and well toasted. Clean and friendly staff. The front door was difficult to open for many.

Best coffee shop in Fargo. Great staff and great environment. The staff are amazing and they make public health a priority by refusing to dip down to the level of the jerks who refuse to wear masks and then leave horrible reviews as payback for being asked to leave.

No matter how many chances I have given this place the workers have always been snooty to me. They only have basic options. Nothing I like. Nothing fancy. Heck my friends don't even like it. Always a weird vibe here with creepy customers that stare.

I love atomic for the atmosphere of being able to study and hang out with friends. Coffee has never super impressed me however, nothing special when it comes to taste, no fancy latte art of anything like that that I’ve experienced. Might be in part related to the fact that I’ve only ever seen one or two employees working at a time, even when it’s busy. I really do appreciate the food selection though and all the vegan pastries!

The best coffee and services in town. The baristas know my husband and my order before we reach the counter. They have great options for people with food sensitivities as well. It's a great environment for visiting or work from your laptop. Great music as well.

I feel I should preface this... I usually only go here when I have a nonprofit board meeting. It's not bad, it's just not somewhere I think to go normally. I also don't go downtown (Broadway in Fargo) much in general, which is where this shop is located.

That said, I do like it here; it's a lot like the other coffee shops I go to. There are small cafe tables meant for small groups to have intimate conversations while drinking coffee and having a snack or light meal. There's Wi-Fi for the customers and a meeting space that can be closed off which keeps most of the noise from the main cafe out. I'd say you can fit 12 comfortably, maybe 16, and I think you only need to let them know you're interested in the meeting space if you want to use it; I'm not aware of a charge.

The coffee selection is pretty standard in my opinion. There are the usual flavors available for lattes for example (strawberry, cherry, vanilla for example), you can get hot or cold coffee, espresso, Italian soda, juice, water and probably a couple things I forgot. They also have a small section for baked goods (cookies, breads, cakes) and a few sandwiches and salads.

The ONLY downside I can see, which is a bit of an upside too, is that they seem a bit slower with service. This is where I deducted a star, but as I said it's a bit of an upside too because it fits the atmosphere. To me, this seems somehow like a more relaxed coffee shop, while a certain competing larger chain feels more fast-paced and rushed.

If I could, I'd really like to rate then more like 4.5 to 4.75 stars out of 5.

Great coffee and a great experience. It's evident that they care deeply about their customers and the community. Don't let any snowflakes complaining about not wanting to wear a terribly inconvenient mask in public to literally prevent endangering others tell you otherwise

I actually didn't get coffee because I was amazed by the bakery selection!! I can't remember exactly but I think my slice of cheesecake was pumpkin chocolate truffle crunch or something. Geez. Blown away.
Cool and large spot, good seating selection too.

A long standing downtown Fargo staple. Has been there for at LEAST 10+ years. Good coffee and has fun bulletin boards showing local music and stuff.

Most Excellent! Definitely a place to stop and relax and enjoy a drink of your liking .. great atmosphere... Great customer service...
