Went for the first time on a Wednesday afternoon. Parking can be a challenge only bc I am not sure if the connected lot is for guest. I saw a sign that said "permits only." I took the chance and parked there anyway and was fine.
I was excited to try this place based on all the positive reviews. Upon entering I was not greeted. I had a few questions as I have never been to this place and have some dietary restrictions. The girl at the register seemed irritated by my questions as evidenced by her facial expressions. Another girl came out and attempted to answer my questions but it was the same thing in that she appeared irritated too. I even tried to engage her by asking which milk tea is her fave and asking what she suggest. She did not answer either question but just kind of looked at me. I ended up going with the taro milk tea. It was just okay.
Interestingly another person came in after me and she perked up a bit and at least asked her if she had ever been in and had the tea that she ordered.
Oh well. I will keep looking for a local tea place.

Racist against white people. Common these days but still annoying to be treated like trash because skin color. Young women working here are rude, no manners, no common courtesy. I will never give these hateful people money again

Stopped here on a whim and SO glad we did. The americano was so flavorful. The lovely person working there answered our questions about the Bahn Mi and it was one of the tastiest sandwiches I've ever had!

The banh mi dac biet was amazing, love having a place like this so close to home! Their space is super cute, can't wait to see it fully utilized postpandemic.

One of my favorite places to eat in downtown Akron. The Korean beef bahn mi is amazing and worth making a trip to Evelyn’s. Their coffee is also amazing and I can’t recommend this place enough.

The lemongrass beef Banh Mi as well as the Korean beef Banh Mi was fantastic! We enjoyed the Vietnamese iced coffees very much too. Sweet and delicious! Staff members were friendly and efficient. Nice ambiance. Couldn't find the bathroom though; asked staff and the directions led me to locked doors or unused office space. Just gave up and left 😕

I LOVE EVELYN'S!!
One of my favorite places in Akron for a quick bite and coffee.
The Vietnamese coffee is amazing and will have you wired.
The lemongrass chicken Bahn mi is also phenomenal.
I hope this place stays around for a long time.

Amazing sandwiches. We got the Korean and dac biet banh mi. Perfect bread and awesome ingredients. I’m a bigger fan of fresh jalapeño rather than the pickled, but that’s just me.
My only complaint is that I don’t live closer. This was top 5 sandwiches lifetime.
