Global Gallery Coffee Shop

Global Gallery Coffee Shop is far out of my usual well beaten path. A friend took me here one afternoon, and while I had initial trepidations , in the end I was pleasantly surprised. The shop is a bit of warren with at least 3 different rooms that I saw. Moving about can be interesting if you are a big guy (I am) and you end up setting at the far end of a large and long shared table with benches. Being my first time here I went with a plain cup of black coffee. It's coffee, better than UDF, not as good my usual spot (I'm biased). We shared a few baked goods. I forget what we had. I do remember that I didn't not like them. So they must have been tasty.

All in all this a cutesy sort of place with good quality backed goods and coffee.

I think they also are a florist too, we were sitting near an employee that was creating arrangements.

Love this place. Perfect for a meet up with a friend or two. Only one person inside at a time, but the staff is great and their outdoor area is perfect to hang and get some coffee. Also free wifi while you're there. Take a look inside at the local art/crafts too.

I stopped by on a day when live music was playing and had an excellent lavender latte for the first time. This cafe and art installation is unique and I plan to return and purchase some art items. The music was fun and relaxing and the ambience welcoming. Staff do an outstanding job and I am very impressed with the lavender flavor. As a nonprofit free trade type of organization, I appreciate their work.

Whoops! My review didn't post! This place is lovely for almost any kind of activity. The outdoor seating is fantastic and the drinks are out of this world. I had the House's Iced Chai to start and it was well-balanced and flavorful compared to a lot of similar drinks. For food, I tried out the Veggie Momos and they were incredible! The birds are friendly outside and flew through the canopy as well as walked up to us. Lovely place to visit, study, and enjoy the atmosphere!

My favorite coffee house in Clintonville! I wish I lived in the area part way for this little shop. The staff is GREAT, especially the owner who is so nice. I love the energy and inclusiveness of this shop. They support fare trade, women merchants and everything local. Their homemade chai is my favorite of the drinks, my Persian friend said it’s the real deal. They also sell my favorite vanilla extract that is from a village of women. They sell food too so from lunch to dinner you can get a good meal here. The prices are great too, and everything is high quality. They have a small seating area near the counter, a room with tables in the store area and outdoor tables and benches. Parking can be tricky since the lot only holds 3 cars so you have to rely on high street/side streets, but it’s so worth it. This is an ethical business and I’m happy to support it! 💕 their loyalty/rewards club is the icing on the cake! 💖

Good coffee, good food, great atmosphere. This is my favorite place to sit outside with coffee in Columbus. If you care about supporting sustainable local food or ethically traded coffee this place is a must to check out. Plus you can buy some of that same good coffee and food to take home with you. They have friendly staff- never had a problem with service. Also they have a shop with fair trade goods in the back that's worth checking out.

Really great coffee in a friendly, calm setting. They have cool, unique gifts in the back of the shop. Starting to serve beer and wine as well. Great spot for dates, group meetings and studying. Lots of outdoor seating for warm weather.

Staff is always very friendly and courteous. Great place for almost anything you can think of.

I have been going to Global Gallery for years. Love their mission first and foremost, but their coffee and treats are equally delightful. They also sell an eclectic mix of jewelry, artwork, dog treats, and other gift items from local and global artists/entrepreneurs that make perfect "just because" gifts. Highly recommend!

The service and kindness of the baristas is very welcoming. The drinks and goodies are delish! Love all the fair trade items for purchase also.
