I frequent the Franklinton location, but this was my first time to the short north location. I will say that if you're traveling to either, I would still choose the Franklinton location, parking is easier and they make food there, really, really good food. They have only a small selection of pastries at this location.
Being in the Short North, there's a lot around if you're trying to go to a few places, but parking is a pain if you just want a coffee. I had a shot of espresso and a chocolate muffin. Espresso was good, if not a touch sour. I had to get the Method espresso as the single origin was not dialed in. I did appreciate them letting me know this and not just serving a bad shot though. The chocolate muffin tasted good, but was dry.
The best part about this location is that it is where they do their coffee education. I attended a cupping lead by Corey and it was a great experience. It was my first cupping and interesting to see the process. The coffees were mostly great or at least very interesting.
I still believe one line has the best coffee in the city and highly recommend attending a cupping or class here. For coffee and food, I still prefer the Franklinton location.

My favorite coffee shop after spending 10+ years exploring Columbus! This place is the best, no question. They know their stuff and they only but good beans. They consistently have their espresso blend in the bar as well as two single origins of you want to mix it up. They also have wonderful cold Brew and 3 to 4 options for pour overs. A few of these guys compete regionally and have made it to Nationals for Brewers Cup. Worth the wait when there is a line. This isn't Starbucks though, they don't have all the syrups, but if you're used to lattes with a lot of syrup, I highly recommend trying their mocha or their honey latte.... Still give them a try.

The place was nice and they didn't look down on two dirty guys who were doing demo and might've looked a bit out of their normal customers lol but they were nice coffee was good hot and fresh and liked the cinnamon roll overall opinion is a good one of them

I thoroughly enjoyed the La Huaca coffee. It was a good dark roast that wasn't overwhelming. The blueberry muffin was okay but a little too sugary.

Had another great drink from here. The first time I had an espresso, which was so rich and delicious. The second time I had a flat white, equally good (and similar to) their cappuccinos. They sure know a lot about coffee! Staff is so friendly and fun. Very professional as well. Will definitely be back again the next time I'm visiting the Short North.

Absolutely amazing coffee!! I had a cold brew coffee that came out of the picture I posted. I don't know what it's called but it literally tastes amazing! Definitely from the coffee gods!! So so good! Don't ever think of going to Starbucks again! The people were friendly and this coffee shop is in a fun area of Columbus. I highly recommend coming here and enjoying a glass of cold brew! Cannot wait to go back and get me some amazing cold brew coffee!! 😋😎

Solid coffee spot. Because of covid, the set up isn’t ideal. It seems like it’d be a great spot to hang out during normal times though. Good spro. Friendly baristas.

I can't even believe I'm writing this review. I guess I had high expectations?
I will say the croissants were possibly the best croissants I've ever had, and I like the atmosphere, so three stars for that. I did really like the decor as well :)
My espresso drink tasted somehow burnt and diluted at the same time. Even the standard latte was not good. We went there before 8am, when no other small coffee shop in the city was open, so we were grateful for their hours. The baristas were still asleep, though.
Based on their reputation and other reviews, this must have been a fluke.

I enjoyed the tomato basil scone and the honey latte was perfect in regards to sweetness. Nice place for a quick bite to eat and/or coffee if you're exploring the downtown area.

What would it be if we have a better experience in local coffee store than a franchise; I think we never know. Waited a half hour for a small coffee, they didn't ask the size, and they were not careful.
