The dark mocha espresso tasted like it had no coffee in it, at all. The sausage, egg and cheese panini was AWFUL!! The egg was rubbery and flavorless, and the sausage tasted like it was made in the microwave.
Five of us ate breakfast there yesterday morning... for the price tag of nearly $60 for just sandwiches and coffee, it was the worst possible experience, because none of us were satisfied with what we were served. The only thing any of us ordered that was any good was the Mexican Hot Chocolate.
I may visit Put-in-Bay again, but the Chocolate Cafe won't be on my list of places to which to return.

Great coffee and interesting memorabilia. Guy working could have used a strong cup of his own brew. Tried being friendly and talk but he was short with answers. Not very friendly at all.

Nice place to visit. We ate at the attached Biergarten. Bratwurst and Sauerkraut was at best mediocre. I am Bavarian and do not care for German imitation food. However, the atmosphere and pretzel was good.

Lots of icecream flavors and chocolate choices. Was busy and crammed in narrow area while we were there but service was fast. Icecream was very creamy and really good. Portion size was decent.

The museum is small but nice. The brats and beer from the biergarten was good

Great chocolate and ice cream, we live the malted milk ball at the bottom of the ice cream cone. We make a point to stop every time we are at Put In Bay.

I was so excited to go here... Should have kept driving. I ordered my daughter a dirt and worm sundae a small one. The gentleman told me we only have one size. I said okay. He grabbed a huge cup and started filling it up with ice cream. I told him my daughter doesn't need that much and asked why the menu showed 2 sizes. He looked up at it, rolled his eyes at me and snapped his head. Like he was queen diva. Then asked if she wanted whip cream. Then I tried to order myself something and was completely ignored. He rang it up and we left. I was absolutely floored. We will stick to the candy bar for now on.

Taylor, one of the gentlemen working, was phenomenal. It was a cozy little place and the drinks were great. These guys know their coffee and their chocolate. We will definitely be back!

Three girls behind the counter on a Sunday around 6p. Not super busy. We never got waited on. Seems like all the attention went into making coffee and serving ice cream. The museum part was nothing more than a few poster/signs of chocolate, a tv playing Willy Wonka and a large sign of Lucy with a head cut out for a photo op.
Completely disappointed. We walked out after waiting 15 mins for someone to come to us to take our order. The chocolate looked good but who knows if it is worth waiting. At $19.99 a lb I hope but service lacks.

Cool little chocolate/coffee store, plus an outdoor area and a place where you can get hot pretzels with cheese and refreshments. Upstairs is a restaurant & bar area.
