The ONLY reason I don’t give this 5 stars is due to the lack of cleanliness of the seating area in this cafe. I come in here quite a bit and see the same dirt all of the time. I would think the manager would be on top of this if she knew. Makes me cautious to eat here.
The long-time staff is like family, newer kids are cold and unfriendly. When Tim isn’t here, the place doesn’t operate correctly.
I never have an issue with taste or quality of drinks. Love the atmosphere to have client meetings or when I’m working remotely. Starbucks is way too loud and cold. Too political and this place is not.
I am submitting this so that the manager, Julie, is made aware. She’s the best!

I ordered a cappuccino, it was really small and the taste was rather horrid, extremely bitter with a burnt after taste. I'm on the road and like to try new coffee shops along my travels. I would definitely not stop here again. Workers were decent enough hence the 2 stars but I give the coffee a 0

Love boston stoker but if you ask about a drink that you order and if they're familiar with it....
Shoot they went to gossiping after my order was collected from the counter.

Unfortunately this isn't what you do while the customer is STILL in the store.

Work isn't what you think or your opinion. And that's just offensive to talk about someone while they're still there.

Granted it was just about a drink and if you were familiar with it ...however your facial expressions and the other girls expressions...no you just don't do that. To top it off when I confronted them asking if thats what they do, talk about people-- lady just flat out lies in defense mode saying she didn't do that.

Situation was I asked for a brevè and she says latte. Told her..no.. brevè. She goes well the only difference is its steamed half and half. Like duh! That's why I'm asking for... that drink!
That's what prompted me to even ask IF you're familiar with it!

Like No. If I want coffee with steamed milk I'll say latte. Breve is with half and half.

If you keep an ear out you may hear them gossiping. Not professional and I don't think I'll be returning.
I stepped outside and went back to ask about the manager and one lady was there and said she's the manager with some amused look.
Told me they were juuust ° talking about my drink.
Sad instead of offering an apology she feels and believes this was ok.

After saying I'll be talking to another manager about this or the GM and start leaving still they all go omgggg as if they can't believe this happened.
Air head.

There's a wonderful place also in the square with just as good coffee.

Will be definitely be discussing this with higher ups. What did they think I wouldn't understand English? Smh.

Working in Dayton from out of state. Just finished work nights and had a 5 hour drive home. Stopped in and ordered a large dark roast coffee. Staff seemed friendly enough... asked if they had stevia and was told no, but they had Splenda and Sweet and low. Kid put 2 huge squirts of splenda in the cup before pouring the coffee. I saw that and am thinking to myself, that is going to be way to sweet. Sure enough, way to sweet that it drowned out the flavor. I handed it back and told them that they could dump it down the drain and left.

Here's a radical idea, how about letting customers sweeten their own coffee to the level of sweetness they like.

You're welcome for the donation, definitely won't visit another Boston Stoker Coffee Co.

Great cup of Joe! My fav is a large latte plain with an extra shot of espresso. The spiced chia latte is a winner too!

It’s incredibly disappointing how much this place has went down hill. It used to have such a warm and welcoming vibe. Now it feels so drab and uninviting. The staff is not friendly at all and make zero effort to engage with the customer. My wife and I felt so unwelcome when we visited. We had to wait to be served because apparently, despite there being three staff members, they drive-thru takes precedence over those in the store. It never used to be like this when I started coming here back in 2012. I hope the owner reads this and is inspired to do better. You guys used to have such warm and friendly staff, and a fun and welcoming environment. Now it’s just depressing.

Great crew that work there whether in the drive thru or walk in. Always polite and everyone seems to work as a team. I order the same thing everytime: Large coffee with three creams and a shot of expresso. Whats weird is that its not the same price every time. Lately its been between $3 and $3.75. No big deal...its 75 cents. Must be the way it gets rang up. Still better than Tim's or Starbucks IMO!

I can't tell you much, I met my daughter there and she got there before me and had ordered. What ever it was it was good. She said made with oatmilk. She stops there quite often so it must be good.

The coffee is roasted locally and is always well prepared. I love to get tea here as well. It is brewed fresh from loose leaves and they have an excellent selectionto choose from. It's a great place to study, read, or relax with friends!

I have not been there in awhile. I remember the humidor being a bit larger and more of a selection
