I stop into Crimson Cup between 2 and 4 times a week at the UA store. It is a wonderful space. The baristas are wonderful: very friendly and engaging. I love their pour overs, muffins and teas, especially. The manager, Brandi is a joy: she's a hard worker and has a keen sense of humor. The owner, Greg, is friendly and approachable. I highly recommend Crimson Cup to anyone who loves coffee and ambience!

The third place on my Columbus Coffee Experience in the past three days. I visited this place today after the Rock City Church service and read my German magazine with a coffee and a double chocolate chip muffin. The muffin was really moist and went well with the drink. It is a popular location and I can see why!

The matcha was a bit weak, but significantly cheaper than Starbucks, and nice rich espresso flavor! They sell some coffee products and homemade treats. The baristas are super friendly. I wish there was a location closer to me.

The Winters are cold, Summers blistering, and each day feels insufferably difficult. Their iced teas are great with fruit syrup and I'm a huge fan of the color brews and muffins. The staff are fantastic and very cool.

I went the day their espresso machine was broken. They said that they were trying a different espresso for their drinks so I ordered a mocha. It tasted like warm milk. I have had their products before and they were good but just not this time.

Just stopped in for the first time in several years and my favorite coffee still tastes the same! Best coffee I've ever had!

Crimson Cup is decent. They dont really do anything better than the other coffee shops you can find in Columbus, but you're still supporting a local business and it's probably going to be better than Starbucks.

This is becoming one of my favorite neighborhood coffee shops. I am not 100% sure why I love it yet. First of all, I love local coffee shops (but can't quite hate on Starbucks either). And a local chain is cool because it means a local coffee shop is doing well. The baristas can sometimes lack warmth, but they aren't completely aweful. The patrons on the other hand offer any warmth the baristas lack. There is a mixture of professionals of all ages doing work or enjoying their off time to young student types. At any rate, I have found the clientele friendly which I appreciate. The coffee shop can get quite busy, but not overwhelming so.
What I do know I love so far is that thet offer not only a few signature drinks year round, but they offer some seasonal signature drinks as well. I don't like when local coffee shops are completely unimaginative when they lack the restrictions of a corporate bureaucracy. I also like that they accomodate adjustments to their drinks. My pet peeve is coffee shops which oversweeten their drinks and asking they adjust their recipe is either tedious or impossible, and one still receives an undrinkably too sweet concoction. Frustrating. (Again, why I can't hate on Starbucks because they have a fairly good accommodation
notation system down). But the baristas have been patient with my questions and accommodations, and successfully prepared drinks for me. :)
I haven't tried their food yet, but it does appear rather basic unlike my other favorite Fox in the Snow. I will still give it a shot eventually though.
Lastly, the fake fire place and plush armchairs give it a rich setting. I just wish the fire was real especially being a recent transplant from Miami. Looks like I will be drinking a lot of coffee this winter!

5 stars for friendly and prompt service. 0 stars for the coffee. I ordered an iced latte and it came to me with one shot in 16 ounces. The milk was barely tinted. When I asked the barista if I could pay for another shot, he was so nice and comped it, but sadly the cold, refrigerated espresso came from a pitcher and was watered down and tasted burnt. I took two sips and that was it. I came here as an alternative to Starbucks, but sadly won’t be back.
