A lesser known fact about me is that I am absolutely in love with coffee kiosks across the West. On a road trip, I will literally order a mocha at one, drive two miles down to the next and get a pastry or, heck, another coffee! Out of the hundreds of huts I’ve driven through none are as fascinating in design as the Lighthouse Coffee Company!
You can’t miss this one guys. It’s located right off Highway 101 travelling south. The building is absolutely adorable. I mean it’s a lighthouse! It truly adds to the coastal ambiance.
We stopped here on our way out of the coast. There was only one person ahead of us who ordered a ton of drinks and only one person was in. I ordered a 20 oz nonfat hot almond joy mocha ($5.50) and a classic breakfast burrito ($5.00). I originally wanted a veggie burrito but they were out. Oh, whale. No biggie, the burrito was fabulous as well the mocha! I’m pretty boring and stick to my usual nonfat vanilla latte. I guess I felt adventurous or whatever today. Honestly I have my suspicions whether the barista correctly made it nonfat because it tasted way to good to be so. I guess what you don’t know doesn’t count, right?
You should definitely take the time to visit this adorable little one of a kind kiosk. There are so many along the 101, however none really do stand out like this one does!
We were on vacation last week in Lincoln City. As most of us do, we like our coffee from our favorite home town places. Ours here in the Tri-Cities, Washington is Roasters. It's only here. We saw the Lighthouse place in Lincoln City and decided to go there. The girls were very polite, friendly and professional. They made us the best blended SF mocha Irish creme ever. It was absolutely delicious. We went again the next day to get one as we were traveling on. Thank you for a great coffee drink. We will be back soon!
Been going to Lighthouse since 2010. It’s the only place to grab coffee on the coast. So many good changes under new ownership. It’s not easy to keep up with service on the coast especially in the busy months. The individuals who work at the shop bust tail to keep the line moving.. Support local, and enjoy real coffee at Lighthouse
So whoever the girl working last night and this morning is made my blended mochas poorly. Usually the Latino pretty girl makes them perfect every time but this chick might pride herself on messing up people's drinks if they think there homeless
The menu looked promising, but the iced mochas we got were not even drinkable.
Our family was in another car and let us go ahead of them in line since they wanted to follow us. A car in front of us assumed we "cut" in line and we heard either the person in car or the barista call us an a******. That car even ended up paying for our family's drinks since they thought we cut them in line. Our family said their coffees were fine, so we think the baristas purposely made us terrible drinks because they thought we cut in line...
I never leave reviews like this, but this was not a good experience.
After waiting in line 15 mins and driving around the block to accommodate traffic, we got a "no whip cream available we havnt had time" reply to our order at 10am on a sunday. There were 3 girls working. Shame on them. 7 dollar coffee shakes are a treat when we come but how lazy of them 😞:(
Service was good but the coffee was terrible. We were there super early so I’m not sure if maybe she was just tired and made it wrong or something but we had to throw both of the drinks away. It was just an iced mocha and an iced caramel latte so I wouldn’t think it’d be to difficult. Probably just an off day but was disappointed in the waste of money.
I always prefer to support local business and these guys deserve it. They are busy quite frequently and the girls work really hard. The coffee was great. The service was phenomenal. Don't forget to tip.

When i'm in town, I always have to stop by here for my pineapple red-bull smoothie. Literally so good.
