Anchor & Anvil Coffee Bar

I stopped in today while my daughter was at a camp at OLSH. I ordered a Cookie Table and it was delicious! A lot of times I find the fancy coffees from certain popular chains to be entirely too sweet as I am usually a drinker of black coffee. My drink that I got here was not like that despite having caramel, dark chocolate and white chocolate. I hope to stop back again when dine in is allowed so that I can sit down and enjoy a book with my drink.

Very nice local coffee shop, with a great selection of teas as well. Their coffee is fantastic, probably one of the best shops I've been to. I like the selection of special coffees.

Their tea selection is also excellent, and I actually frequent them more for that since I'm a big tea drinker.

Loved the coffee. Loved the music. But please, get someone to clean the place. All the tables were dirty. The floor was dirty. The espresso machine was dirty.

Such a quaint little coffee shop! I found this little Beauty when I needed to meet some clients. It is officially my new favorite stop. Specialized Service, adorable seating, areas for work, and a friendly staff! I can hear the Friends theme music playing now...

The ambiance is nice but the service was lacking. At the time I was there it was two cranky young women that didn't bother to make our drinks with our requested milk. Then when I asked if they didn't have it, the cashier responded that they did and just gave a blank stare hoping I would disappear.

Very friendly staff and delicious drinks. Even gave me a free sample of a signature drink. It is a welcome addition to Coraopolis and well worth the drive if you arent local. The bar seating overlooking the street with the open garage doors is great for a nice afternoon.

Interesting idea for coffee drinks (e.g. Old Fashioned -- compared theirs to my many bourbon ones). Occasional live music and poetry slams. I hope this place really takes off. Great atmosphere and asset to the community.

Great coffee spot to sit down or be on your way. I like to work for an hour or so from the large high top bar looking out onto 5th Avenue. The wifi is good, they bring in Orams donuts, and the coffee has been great. Usually pretty quiet in the AMs and the staff has been friendly. Been here a couple times and will continue to visit.

Always love the vibes of Anchor & Anvil, such a cool setup, good music, friendly staff and amazing coffee - a great experience all in all! 10/10 would recommend! If you are looking for a coffee/work place in Coraopolis - this is the place.
