Daylight Donuts

Johnson city gem! The staff are always exceptionally friendly and personable. The donuts are DELICIOUS! So much better than any of the main donut chains. Also one of the best places for boba tea! Daylight donuts is HIGHLY recommended!!

We love trying new places when we visit different cities. We jump at the oppertunity to not buy from a chain! Sadly we were very disappointed with this donut shop. The donuts tasted stale and had that bit of a 'crunch' to them like the dreaded grocery store donuts have. Maybe they were leftovers from the previous day? The coffee was very similar to gas station coffee- we dumped it and got our coffee from another place.

Donuts are good, very friendly employees and the Boba is delicious!

Was super excited to find them in Johnson City this morning. Hadn't seen a Daylight Donuts since I left Oklahoma. It did not disappoint! Kolachees, filled to order, the whole 9 yards. Will be back soon!!

The owner of the shop is SO DELIGHTFUL and she has given me free donut holes every time that I went in. The shop is cozy and well decorated and the donuts are AMAZING!! ❤💜❤💜 If you haven't been here before, she fills all cream donuts upon ordering (so that they don't sit and get soggy) and it's just such a tasty place! The strawberry bubble tea is also really good and can instantly satisfy a sweet tooth!

I went to daylight donuts and had a magical experience from whom I presume was the owner. My type of credit card wasn’t accepted ( not their fault) so I had to run and get cash, but while waiting she gave me and my sister free donuts and Boba tea, which opened me to a new world of amazing. 10/10 recommend. The lady inside is very nice, hope you’re having a good day. Bye.

Awesome little local store with great food and coffee. If you're looking for that fancy modern coffee shop experience-- this is not that, and that is not a bad thing at all. It's just one of those local charms. It's also not overpriced like most fancy modern coffee shops haha.

Quality of the boba was pretty good. And the inside was cute like a small town Cafe, and it smelled really good in there.

My wife and I tried this place for the first time today and we absolutely LOVED it. The customer service was excellent, the pricing was very fair, and they were following proper COVID procedures! We got a few different kinds of donuts and some bubble tea.

The Teas:
They have so many different options to choose from, both in tea and pearl flavors. I had the Thai bubble tea with the original black tapioca. It was sweet and flavorful, very good. My wife had a Pina Colada tea with the mango popping pearls. The pearls literally were bursting with flavor.

The Donuts:
With so many different kinds, it was hard to choose. We tried a few different types of the hand cut, fresh made donuts. We had blueberry, chocolate and red velvet cake donuts, an original glazed, a maple frosted, a Hawaiian fritter and an apple fritter. The Cake donuts were super moist and cakey on the inside, and the light glaze made an excellent crust on the outside. The original glazed was probably the best original donut we have ever had, and the maple frosted was super good too. The fritters were amazing; chewy and soft inside, crunchy outside!.

Overall we had an amazing experience and we will definitely be coming back soon!

My daughter and I were in the area when we saw Daylight Donuts. Of course, I had to try them out. We live in Asheville and wish they had a Daylight Donuts. The store was very clean. At 4pm, we were pleasantly surprised that they had any donuts at all. The lady at the regiy was very gracious and kind. She gave us a free Red Velvet donut since it was getting to be the end of the day. Her kind gesture actually got me to return and buy a second dozen donuts. Excellent customer service! The donuts were very delicious. We'll definitely return the next time we're in the area. I'm sure it will be soon.
