we are visiting from Wyoming looking for a good place, found it on google. way good pick!! amazing margarita. great food. great service!! we had a really nice attentive server. & i recommend the wonton tacos for an appetizer. 😊

Visiting Abilene on a whim, and had to come here multiple times! Everything was fabulous. The staff and the atmosphere were wonderfully welcoming, and everything I tried was wonderfully delicious. This food is clearly made with love and I’m sure I’ll be back the next time I visit Abilene.

Highly recommend the chimichanga egg rolls, the cotija potatoes, and the entire cocktail menu.

Why did chiken taco taste more like tajin.
Presentation was good, atmosphere is good. food could be better. Ordered a total of 6 tacos. All had great taste except the coliflower and the chiken. Also, the tortillas were stale, whatever was used to reheat these refrigerator tortillas dosen't do a good job. Tip use a pan with a little oil, maybe they won't start fallung apart as quick. Salsa for the chips straight out the refrigerator. El diablo was bland when drinking it, but it had a better aftertaste.
Whoever dressed the cup for the michelada needs to stop, it was 1/2 the brim of the cup and the dress came down 1/4 the cup; as much as i enjoyed liking my cup all around i would rather not.

Good experience. Think elevated Tex-Mex. We went in on a Tuesday afternoon. Very good food at a reasonable price. Service was excellent

Very expensive. They didn’t have anything on their menu so they could only serve chips and salsa and their brunch menu. We got two drinks and chips and salsa and it was $50. One of the drinks comes with OJ in it and they charged us an extra $1 for it.

Jerron, Kyle, & Kora went above and beyond to make our evening out one to remember, I am so so, so very happy to see The Local back— the food, quality, drinks, and portion sizes are amazing, I promise you won’t be disappointed, excellent experience!

Staff was friendly but seemed to be short staffed, took longer to get helped then I would have liked but when they did help they were very nice. Food was amazing, highly recommend the Asada fries and the fish tacos. Private island drink not great

I never could understand why tacos are so popular but we ordered the Birria Tacos from The Local and they were outstanding! If you haven't tried The Local, I highly recommend it!

The manager Kyle & the bartender were so pleasant. 3 tacos with rice & beans plus 2 margaritas had me grinning ear to ear.
