Worst expresso ever. The barista mistakenly gave me a wrong portion and she just threw it away instead of asking me, the quality of coffee is terrible and worst for $4 for an expresso

Cool place, friendly staff and great coffee! What more can you ask for in a coffee shop? I had their Nitro Vietnamese cold brew and it was awesome!!

This cafe is such a fun find in downtown Austin! Right on congress, with a view of the capital building, this little spot has a lot going on. They serve great crafted coffee and lattes, and the barista who made my drink put so much love into it. She was eager to give me tips and hints to making my own at home, and everyone I spoke to was kind and sweet. They also serve baked goods and some diner foods. The real surprise though, is the comedy club in the back of the cafe! It’s definitely worth checking out.

At first the price was shock. However, the coffee and food was worth it and a good value.
Ordered the bacon, egg, chive tot and the Hideout Hazelnut. The coffee wasn't burnt and wasn't overly sweet. The tot was heavy, hot, and perdect to start a long day.
This is NOT a wimpy coffee shop!

This place has the coolest rock n roll vibes. Punk was on the radio when we walked in. Great coffee and art!

Nice local place. Dark Horst is really strong. :). Only thing is the call out your order and then just leave it there. Could definitely improve on remembering customers and know they are waiting for their order that you just put to the side. My friends finished their food when I finally went to ask about mine. Would have loved to have the meal at the same time considering it was ready at the same time.

Ordered a cappuccino, might as well order a latte because that’s what you’ll get…
Bunch of milk with a little bit of espresso :(
Food was… average. Wouldn’t come back again.

Superb place for laughs, caffeine and food. Shows got the hook for now due to #CVD but if we ALL wear our masks and get our shots, we will be laughing (with tears) in a year from now how we let this get out of hand.
Until then, watch George Carlin on YouTube , my king of comedy.
And get your coffee fix at the Hideout with Demarius.

Service and coffee were great. I was expecting the improv theater to be open, but it wasn’t due to covid. It has some seats outside if you want to enjoy outdoors and it is located on a street with a lot of activity so it is fun if you want to see a glimpse of Austin.

Great spot to work for a few hours, and the coffee was excellent. My almond croissant was passable. Friendly staff and quick service.
