The bike shop here is great. I brought my bike in to be assembled just before they closed and it was ready to ride the next day. My seat came loose and was sliding around soon after but they fixed it for me quickly and I haven’t had a problem since. Super nice guy and cool atmosphere.

Update: The verbiage on the business card is unclear, but feels like there are review incentives. I heavily dislike promotions/discounts in favor of a 5 star rating. I stopped by to purchase brake cables and received a card from the owner for 50% off of my next drink for a 5 star review(not very clear based on the sticker, but seems like it is).
I dislike businesses asking for a specific rating. If the card read, "If you liked our shop today, please leave a review!", It would be perfectly fine, but specifying the 5 star review and including the discount right after makes it feel like a condition.
Not only does this practice undermine the integrity of all reviews at this shop, it ruins customer rating systems in general. Please stop this practice.

Previous review:
I'm updating my review because the ownership has changed and it's also become a coffee shop!
I've had a few interactions with the shop owner regarding the bikes. He seemed a bit distracted, but I had come at a busy time, so I stopped asking since there weren't any bikes in my size.
The service, warranty, and prices are the same as last owner (which is great) with a lifetime basic maintenance, discount on accessories for a month after the purchase of the bike, and etc.
The coffee shop was a bit too expensive and too far(distance wise) from the school to walk, but a weird biking experience too with the extremely long parking lot to bike through, which often has cars weaving through.
As for the taste of the coffee, I got an iced latte a week or so after their open. Taste was distinctly different from Starbucks(which is good), but not too different to offend any Starbucks fans.
I thought there would be outdoor seating, but didn't see any, which was disappointing.

This is place is amazing! My bike seat and rod had gotten stolen and they were able to completely fix and replace it in one visit. It was very affordable and they were so helpful and nice. I came back in a few weeks to get my seat tightened and they quickly fixed that free of charge. I would highly recommend coming here to get your bike fixed.

Super nice staff, great atmosphere. Went in to buy a valve adaptor to fill up my bike and the guy, who I think was the owner, gave it to me for free. Made my day!

Great place. If you need a bike, I would highly recommend this place. They don't have coffee yet but hopefully soon. Thanks Jason for everything.

PLACE REVIEW-
Its also a bike shop along with a Cafe can't get any better.
They have good comfortable chairs and desks to study can be here for hours. Music is on point, staff is friendly and know thier coffee.
A bit cold in here so a pullover is recommended.
COFFEE REVIEW-
Good quality beans they aren't burnt for a change ☺️. They use honey in thier coffee which makes it taste richer.
Ps - whole milk in your coffee always!

Super nice guy. Went in to ask about adjusting the stem of my bike, was in and out within 10 minutes. Owner also pointed out some loose parts which he fixed, no charge. Genuinely impressed with the atmosphere and the friendliness.

Love everything about this place!! I've never ordered a bad coffee, staff is so nice, and it took less than 10 minutes to fix my bike.

This bike shop is awesome! I live really close to Bike Barn, but I prefer the feel of Rooster's. Jason was so nice and welcoming, and he took care of my problem right away. The shop is homey, and it really has that local bike shop feel. They know what they're doing, but they'll also treat you well and make you feel at home. Overall, a great experience, and I am looking forward to going back!

As the semester started, I quickly realized that a bike would be really convenient. However, due to manufacturing issues at that time I could not purchase a bike online since there was huge manufacturing lead times. I remembered there was a store near Zachary that worked with bikes so I went and checked it out. It was there where Jason came to the rescue. He walked me through the various bikes he currently had and explained to me how manufacturers were having issues selling him bikes. He showed me a Retrospec bike and suggested the frame size. Once I bought the bike, he had his shop assemble my bike in very little time even though the shop was extremely busy! Jason is a great guy and I know he will take good care of you and your bike needs.
