Houndstooth Coffee

If you're looking for a trendy coffee spot, this definitely fits the bill! It's a clean and modern look with decent coffee. Not the best spot to set up for working or studying but it's fun to go for coffee's sake!

Adorable little minimalistic Austin-based coffee shop with friendly service. The decor is simple and modern and the menu is small but adequate. I'm not a big coffee drinker but Houndstooth makes a pretty good vanilla latte. The cups have a cute small image of the state of Texas at the bottom that you see when you finish your coffee. There is somewhat limited seating but they do have an additional seating area that isn't attached to where you actually go to order your drinks. I probably wouldn't recommend studying here - it's a great for catching up with friends. It is also a little pricey but at least the drinks are good.

It's convenient when I'm meeting with someone, coffees good, but no lemon for iced tea, very limited seating and the little lounge next door is like an afterthought with some strange swelling of the flooring (which is a hazard), uncomfortable, not conducive to a business chat... but when the weather's nice they do have outdoor seating

Foxtrot house blend drip coffee was slightly sour and had very little flavor overall. Slightly better than Civil Pour, across the parking lot. There is no point to drinking this.

The owners should travel and experience good coffee and try again.

A bit expensive for what you get, and I'd love more comfy seats... but I know great coffee & they have it. Is new & bright. Lots of natural light, also seating outside for when it's nice. will be a good spot to bring your dog & have good coffee

Good coffee. Interesting atmosphere. Different than most coffee shops in Dallas.

Dirty Chai tea latte was ok but a fair price. Interesting indoor outdoor set-up. Perfect place to hang out if you are waiting for an appointment, family or friend at the nearby hospital.

Great coffee, awesome atmosphere, and excellent service! We just moved in down the street and I'm super excited to have a great coffee shop nearby again. The prices are reasonable and if you get there early enough they have breakfast pastries. I'll be returning frequently for my morning caffeine fix!

Coffee is SOOO good. It’s a little overpriced, but u come here once a week because of how much I enjoy the taste. Def recommend! It’s kinda small too so work in, so it might’ve be difficult.

I just love this place! I work from home, so when I just need to get out of the house, or the kids are home with my husband, this is my go to! Great unique coffee and food selection. I was surprised how yummy the food is! Almond Butter toast and steak wrap are my faves!!
