Great little coffee shop to work from or catch up with friends! I wish their booths were a bit more comfortable (& maybe some padding would quiet the place down a bit too) but otherwise the coffee and pastries are delicious & the baristas are very friendly!

Such a cute coffee shop! Gives the small town coffee feel and cute not manicured and that’s what i love about coffee shops. great coffee too!

It's a great place to get coffee. I love the atmosphere as well.

Such a nice, relaxing coffee shop. They have signature lattes. I love lavender. If you do too, get the Bee’s Knees.

This was probably the WORST experience I’ve had at a coffee shop. I showed up at 7:01pm and the door was open. My first time visiting so I was looking at a menu by the door, there was what I assumed a customer sitting in the seating area enjoying a drink. All of a sudden the barista that was there rudely yelled “we are closed please leave now”. I asked what time they closed and she said 7. I told her I didn’t know and also the door was open so I walked in. She said “leave now!!” . Cool.. I won’t be coming back… bad vibes

Here's the deal: Lemma makes amazing coffee. Their roasting is great, the baristas absolutely know what they're doing, and I've never had a less than excellent coffee drink from there, and that's why I'll keep going back. If the order time is long, it's because they are taking their time and getting it absolutely right - I watched one barista remove a single coffee bean from the scale because the ratio was sub-optimal. Impressed is an understatement.
Here's why my trips to Lemma are to-go exclusively: the seating is sub par - chairs are hard, tables are small, and doesn't really offer a great arrangement to stay for more than an hour. It would be great to see some more comfortable seating options, the space is definitely there. Another thing, you will pay for great coffee - lattes are running higher in price than other coffee shops, which makes it harder to make lemma my go to spot, but it's definitely where I go to treat myself.
But the part that makes my trips less than enjoyable are the baristas themselves: although incredibly talented, I've only had a couple of good interactions with them. For the most part, they're short, generally cold to people coming in, and don't really seem to show a lot of good customer service. Lately this seems to be improving, but the general vibe is they don't seem to enjoy being there. But dang... They know how to make coffee.
Great coffee shops are great not just because of the coffee, but the people and atmosphere as well.

The baristas are very friendly and so kind. They definitely make you feel great when you walk in. I don't really like the way they made the coffee, it wasn't very tasty and kind of bitter. The avocado toast was really good, but very pricy. $6 for one slice is not okay.

Small but cozy cafe with friendly staff.
