Black Sugar Caffe

So I'm on an chai tea thing right now so I'm trying it at all coffee shops. This place right here is my #1 and I have tried alot of places. It's just better and made the right way !!!!!!! Update ordered again this morning and paid for 20oz didn't even get half a cup very disappointed

It was OK, nothing special. Nice enough, used Ikea like furniture, prices that you would expect, but it could have been a touch cleaner. We had to brush a fair amount of large size crumbles off before we sat on the love seat. My glass was still dirty, lip marks on it.
People were friendly enough too.

An absolute treasure in Georgetown! The employees are kind and the atmosphere is wonderful!

I really wanted to like this place. But the manager or owner really needs a lesson in customer service.

For the most part the staff is nice but the manager was really rude, I had a scattered brain moment where I forgot to tell the cashier to make my latte oat milk because I’m Lactose intolerant. When the manager/owner came to give me the drink I quickly mentioned it and asked for oat milk, apologized because it was clearly my fault for forgetting and even offered to pay the difference. Instead he instantly got icy and acted super annoyed and frustrated with me and had a complete attitude about me and passive aggressively told me to “not forget next time” when I clearly stated I forgot and asked for oatmilk. The attitude he gave me afterwards was so out of line it was super uncomfortable. If that’s how you’re going to act over a .50 difference when I even offered to take care of it. I will take my business elsewhere.

Dropped in to Black Sugar Caffe for mid morning break. Great selection of sandwiches, croissants, snacks, tarts coffee and smoothies. Lovely laid back place with great lighting, decor, ornaments and some very interesting moving mannequins-check out the videos. Staff were very nice and attentive. If you fancy something stronger than coffee then they are also licensed to serve alcoholic drinks.

We came here for breakfast since we have never been and it was not a good experience unfortunately. Staff was so friendly and we loved the atmosphere, but my breakfast sandwhich had mold and my smoothie didnt taste very well. They gave me a refund for my sandwhich, so very good customer service, but was sad it didnt work out.

Can't beat the location. They were busy when I walked in and they took time with my coffee. They have a huge seating area. Few board games as well.

Fantastic coffee and choice of pastries!! So many good choices! Try the creme brulee latte and Nutella croissant! It's amazing!

The WiFi doesn't connect to the internet, so come for the conversation. Coffee smells great. Food is great! Staff is amazing. Seating is confusing. Atmosphere is comfortable. Prices are awesome and there's a point program for frequent purchase.

This place checks all the blocks for anyone not needing to connect to the internet for productivity. My suggestion is to have that fixed.
