There's something inherently special about Yava Java that transcends the typical dining experience. This alluring establishment is more than just a Middle Eastern eatery; it’s a vibrant tapestry of flavours, artfully woven into each dish, providing an unforgettable culinary journey that will transport you straight to the heart of the Levant.
The moment you step into Yava Java, your senses are gently embraced by the fragrant aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingling with the intoxicating scents of exotic spices, creating an atmosphere that is at once comforting and exciting. The warmth of the staff matches the setting perfectly, making you feel as though you've just been welcomed into an old friend's home.
The menu is a carefully curated selection of traditional dishes, each one a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the Middle East. Yet, the three jewels in Yava Java's culinary crown are, undoubtedly, their hummus, freshly baked zaatar, and fita pie.
The hummus is a velvety masterpiece, impeccably balanced in its nutty and tangy notes, making it the perfect preamble for the symphony of flavours to follow. It's so good that you'll find yourself scraping the bowl clean, yearning for just one more taste of its delightful creaminess.
Next, the zaatar — a time-honoured Middle Eastern staple. Yava Java's zaatar is a revelation, its flaky pastry perfectly baked to a golden hue, liberally sprinkled with the namesake spice blend that lends it a fragrant, herbaceous punch. It's a textural wonder, the crusty exterior yielding to a soft, fragrant interior that will make you sigh with contentment.
But the pièce de résistance is the fita pie. Made-to-order, this dish requires a little patience, but oh, it's worth the wait! The pastry is light and airy, yet robust enough to hold the rich, cheesy filling, punctuated with a hint of fresh herbs. Each bite is a mouthful of pure joy, the perfect blend of rustic and refined flavours that will leave you licking your fingers in delight.
Yava Java is more than just food; it's a celebration of tradition, a tribute to the warm hospitality inherent in Middle Eastern culture. The waiting time for the made-to-order dishes only adds to the anticipation, making the eventual indulgence all the more satisfying. It’s a place that captivates your senses, touches your heart, and satisfies your soul.
In a world filled with fast food and instant gratification, Yava Java stands out as a beacon of culinary craftsmanship, reminding us all of the sheer joy of savouring food made with love and care. This is not just a restaurant; it's a cherished memory waiting to happen.

Hands down one of the best burgers we’ve had. Deliciousness in every bite. Fries were fresh and were crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside sprinkled with delicious seasoning. Absolutely recommend it!

We love this place and food, BUT please speed out your process of taking out food. It is nearly impossible to wait half an hour for the order with kids. More advanced meals are taking up to 45 min making it hard to come for the lunch during working hours. We are looking forward for the improvements 🙌

I stopped in when I took my girlfriend to her interview and I was immediately greeted by Tuli who was wonderful, kind, and super helpful. On top of that I ordered an Americano with a smoked salmon bagel and it was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this cafe!
