Merge Coffee Company - Roast Lab

My husband and I were in town for the weekend and decided to stop at this cute coffee shop. The coffee and atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. High recommended visiting you won't be disappointed.

so so yummy!! Daryl (i’m sorry i don’t want to assume how to spell your name) was a wonderful barista and was very personable! atmosphere was cozy, intentional and headed towards modern. the staff was very knowledgeable about their craft and gave amazing recommendations for where we live!

Great atmosphere and even better coffee. By far the best coffee in Harrisonburg and the greater Shenandoah valley; I've tried many places over the years and Merge stands out. Their roasting technique amplifies the tasting notes from the beans and makes you savor each sip.

My husband enjoyed a black eye and I had a oat milk latte… both were excellent, and the barista was very nice!

I thought the coffee shop was beautiful and plants where lovely inside, but most of all there coffee is wonderful and very reasonably priced especially if you compare to big chains like Starbucks. I got a white mocha and asked for extra sweet and comes with the whip cream and the coffee is ethically sourced for that price and there white chocolate raspberry scone was yummy too.

Very friendly staff. Amazing brownies. Not usually a mocha guy but my wife got one with macadamia milk and it was the best I ever tasted. Would definitely frequent if in the area. Love the background story too.

I called ahead to order and the gentleman who took my order was so kind! He had my latte ready when I arrived. The shop was very cute and the mocha latte with macadamia milk was one of the best I’ve ever had. I got brownies as well and they were delicious. I wish I lived nearby to make it a daily stop.

I have been frequenting this place since I moved here a year ago. IMO best coffee & espresso in town. The owner (who is always there) is very passionate about the profession and coffee. Unique building in town and great atmosphere.

Great little spot. Daryl and Marlene are great and always friendly. Daryl is usually in there and remembers people well (even with masks). I am a big fan of their London Fogs bc they are the perfect sweetness. Usually I have to ask for half the sugar in most shops. Atmosphere is pleasant. Parking/traffic flow can be a bit stressful, so be prepared for that, but definitely worth it.

Great drinks and a really nice setup! We talked with one of the owners and he was very nice and had an extensive knowledge about coffee. Really enjoyed what we got here and we will be sure to stop by every time we are in Harrisonburg.
