Cute place! Very popular and the vibe is great studying. It is a little loud but is easy to focus and have a conversation.

Did I really just pay over $7 for a small latte? Yes, yes I did. This is the only coffee shop in the area that has NYC prices. They charge $1.25 for a flavor & another $1.25 for nondairy milk. When I commented on the steep upcharge, the staff informed me that the nondairy milk was expensive. Come on y’all even Starbucks is cheaper.
I’ve been coming here since it opened so I will say the staff is generally friendly & the atmosphere is nicer than a chain. The tables aren’t really kept up with as I find myself cleaning before I sit. Overall the place is nice considering its one of the only “local” coffee shops in the area, but it’s overpriced & kindof overrated. I’ll be back but hoping for some improvements…

Wow! This place takes sandwich shop to an entirely different level. Enjoyed a turkey mango sandwich on a croissant with a sliced pear on the side. It was absolutely 💯 delicious along with the presentation.

Our first and definitely last time here. Lot of yelling. Dirty bathrooms. Ordered 2 coffees and one hot chocolate, got them after 35 minutes although the place wasn't even packed. Barista was busy chatting with coworkers instead of working. Coffees were mediocre, not worth the $5. Hot chocolate was way too hot. Best thing was the local honey I bought, it's delicious. I will definitely buy some more from the apiary itself, but will avoid The Urban Farmhouse Market. Very disappointing experience.

The bacon egg sandwich was terrible. Not much bacon and the egg had so much black pepper it was inedible… and it probably took 25 min for the food to be served so much too long for a sandwich that was only assembled and toasted.

Staff is super friendly, very helpful, and the atmosphere is really really nice. Lots of windows and really peaceful. Unfortunately, the food is just not great. I tried the vegetable soup and appreciated that it actually tasted like veggies, without a pound of salt or sugar added to it. The tuna sandwich was simple, but had a nice flavor, I liked that. The apple slaw it came with was inedible. There was no dressing or anything on it whatsoever. It had no flavor other than raw carrot and red onions that have been pre-cut and held in the fridge too long. From one chef to another... flavor could use a big boost. The coffee was mediocre, not great but not bad, but expensive. Probably won't come back.

Food was tasty and service was good! Have to say though I think I was a little shocked by some of the food and beverage prices.

The lox sandwich here is amazing! My wife got a juice and I got an iced matcha latte and all of it was great. Service was fantastic and everything tasted perfect. One of the best cafes in RVA

Cozy and casual. A nice place to hang out with a friend and a coffee or with a laptop. The egg on croissant is delicious if you want something more substantial. A variety of other food options rounds out the menu, including gluten-free pastries. Coffee runs the gamut from a cup of brewed coffee to espressos and cortados. Staff are uniformly friendly and helpful.
