Peet's Coffee

Great spot to get a warm breakfast sandwich (better options than Starbucks imo) and enjoy a coffee.

It’s all about acoustics! The sounds in this location are awful! When a chair moves, people talk or when it’s busy you can’t hear anything well! The coffee is amazing and the employees care! Just don’t go to talk or think! I’m surprised this issue has not been addressed with a sound absorbing material!

Haven't been to a Peet's coffee in a while. The coffee and pastries were way better than I remembered.

The staff at this particular branch are really friendly and hospitable. Well done all around!

The food and coffee is better then any other coffee cafe in the area. Very nice staff and the outdoor sitting area is super nice.

Not a fan of Peets coffee. This location always seems to be out of stock of food choices I want and their specialty coffees such as Lattes or blended coffees have no flavor to them. They are consistently the blandest coffee drinks of any coffee shop I have ever been to. Rarely do I ever walk away from a Peets coffee happy with my drink order. This is in reference to flavored drinks. I cannot comment on regular coffee or tea's.

I love this place over Starbucks. No hate for Starbucks, I just prefer Peet's. I had one of their iced tea infusions, a decadent piece of pumpkin bread, and they're no meat breakfast sandwich, which was 100% vegan. It was all tasty, the stuff were friendly and efficient, and they continue to follow pandemic best practices, a must for me.

Peet's Coffee and Tea is Tyson's is more than a coffee shop, it's a home. I walk through those double doors with a craving for caffeine, and salivating salivary glands. I leave with nothing but the upmost satisfaction. James rings me up with a twinkle in his eye and I am reminded of what it feels like to be loved. Ailish hands me a warm oat milk latte and my esophagus is shown a new level of life. I reach for the door and my ears are filled with the music of Isabella thanking me and Eric wishing me a good day. I will have a good day. I will have a good day because it started at Peet's. (I do miss the sisters though..they were incredible).

Got a solid almond milk hot chocolate here!

The employees at this location are amazing. Always greeting you as you walk in. I'm a regular so often times they prepare my usual drink (large dark). It felt so good to walk in here a few weeks after being on bereavement leave from work and to see their happy faces. They asked me where I'd been because they noticed I hadn't come in for a while and I said, I was in California my Dad passed. He immediately gave me a free coffee. You just don't know how good that felt to be so far from "home" and to feel like I had a family right here in Virginia.

Great staff, clean location, good variety of caffeinated beverages.

UPDATE: Now only open til 2 PM.

Update: service has also really gone downhill here, reducing rating from 5 stars to 2 stars

Second update: Very slow service - this store is nothing like it used to be.
