Arrived at 8am on a Saturday, posted opening time. Doors opened late, owner complained about an 'idiot' employee who scheduled coffee delivery for the wrong time. Asked the owner for the password to use Wi-Fi and he said he'd have to look it up. After twenty minutes it became apparent the owner had forgotten my request (he was walking around, talking to folks about tea; clearly not busy) so I asked the barrista; it was written down at the register and so simple the owner could not have been unaware of it.
Pros: The coffee was fair and it is one of the only coffee shops open at 8am in the Green Bay area. Comfortable atmosphere, music wasn't intrusive, and the bookstore lends a nice & quite library atmosphere - folks were social but not so loud as to be distracting.
Cons: I came to work, I require an internet connection, and it is a bit boggling that the owner (not a staff member) was unable to fulfill a very simple request. Available WiFi is, IMHO, a mandatory resource for any coffee shop.
I consider the value of a coffee shop to determined based upon product (40%), service (40%) and ambiance (20%). Two and a half stars.
Update 3/23:
New ownership afaik.
PRO:
One of the very few coffee places in GB open past 2pm
CON:
Limited selection of coffee available after 2p.

It's amazing to see the life and energy this place brings! The drinks are delicious, the staff are incredibly helpful, and the entire atmosphere makes a great spot for a Saturday morning tea or a mid-week meeting!

Quaint bookstore. Tea and barista were fabulous. Don't forget to try pastries and take home tea to brew. The throat soother tea works. Wish I had bought more!

This is a great place for a girls outing, a day date, studying(alone or in a group), or just ready with a great cup of coffee and a delicious bagel and cream cheese. The staff is top notch and the vibe is super positive and calming. There are also used books for sale and they take donations of used books. They are also Fair Trade which is incredible. Highly recommend!

This has to be my favorite café! I love how they have fun themed drinks, a beautiful widow display seasonally, and the ambiance is amazing. If I could ho here daily I would. I like to be surrounded by books and the tea they sell as well is sooo good! Thanks for all the hard work! 😊

Super cute cafe. At the time my girlfriend and I went they still weren't serving sandwiches or breakfast but the drinks were awesome and they have quite the variety of books and even sell spice. Definitely a nice place to grab a cup of coffee and hang out/grab a book.

Very friendly atmosphere. The batista greeted us with a smile and answered all our questions. Their lattes were great, as well as their book selection

Coffee is alright, but anything flavored generally comes out too sweet for me. The atmosphere is wonderful, though, and I love their iced tea. I usually take the bags to make at home to conserve plastic. There is also a wonderful older gentleman who sells delicious canned goods on Saturdays.

The attic is a cornerstone of the green bay local business scene, it has been around since my childhood and always reminds me of the importance of the simple pleasures. Their drinks are always made with care, and as far as the other coffee shops go around here The Attic is always the most comforting and inviting atmosphere. Whoever decided to combine a book store and a coffee shop in such a humble and inclusive way was really on to something.

I've only been here 2 times and every time has been a delight. The staff is usually very kind and the food and drink offered, even though it is pretty normal food and drink that you would find at most other coffee shops, it definitely hits the spot when you want something small.
Today I ordered one of their spring specials, the Sunny Vanilla Latte, and was surprised when I tasted a bit of lemon in it. I would definitely recommend coming here for a calm, relaxing atmosphere and a great variety of choices for coffee, tea, and food.
