The Creamery Downtown

The BEST skillet I have ever had, hands down. Great weekend brunch vibe and good service once you can get a table. Highly recommend!

I had a brkfst bowl, tasty but not enough eggs (must have been those quail eggs). My wife had simple toast and eggs plate. Again, small portion of eggs and 1 slice of toast. No jelly. So you would think maybe this is a high-end restaurant with those prices and pay extra for jelly to have on a single slice of toast??
Well, no!! A very friendly hostess was cleaning off one of the outside tables & proceeds to throw leftover water from last customers table on ground - right between 2 occupied tables (our's was one). Then shook her cleaning towel in same place, tossing the crumbs and food spills in puddle from the water. This was not out of the way, it was directly in front of the doorway customers had to walk through or try and avoid.
It tells us how much they value each customer, doesn't it?
My heart goes out to the hardworking and short staffed restaurants that still make customers feel appreciated. I don't mind a wait for a table nor a refill or whatever if I feel like I am wanted as a paying customer. This was rude, unsanitary and a complete disregard for all of their customers!!!

Do not let a few reviews of these Karen’s ruin your experience. Went in for brunch the staff was super Duper accommodating asked for refills asked how everything was. The food was fantastic at a very reasonable price. The staff was phenomenal considering they were quite busy the wait time was next to nothing if I would even attempt to make it at home. The flatbread meal that I had was unreal the best I’ve tasted in the whole United States. It was quite impressive and I plan on returning. I have referred a couple other people that have made it there since I have not been able to get there yet again and they found it outstanding and now they have referred multiple people with the same great experiences in the same fantastic food. Thank you very much for a great experience I had and please don’t let some of these Karen’s get you down.

I always enjoy my visit to The Creamery. The bottomless mimosas are fantastic and my favorite dish so far is the chicken and waffles. Blueberry flavored mimosa pictured.

Incredible service and food. Town drunk and chicken fried steak Benedict were Incredible. Side hashbrown best I've ever had. We're foodies so we asked our server Paula 100 questions about her favorites and personal recommendations, they were spot on!. PAULA was the Best!! Going back tomorrow!

The staff was very nice and I loved the vibe of the place and the art. The food was great! Can't wait to go back!

Worth the wait. Went on a game day and the staff was crazy busy but all very friendly. The menu was well thought out- plenty of variety and unique flavors. Skip the bacon basket, splurge on the French toast. The hashbrowns were perfection.

Atmosphere was great and food was great. Everything tasted fresh. They had endless mimosas and people were really enjoying themselves.
There was a wait because the dining area wasn't that big, but that was ok. It was right next to the Fox River so we went for a nice walk before it was our turn.
