Asian Cafe

My bill was $22. When the delivery guy got to my house I handed him two twenties and he said he had no change with him. So I spent an extra $18. Food was good. But not pleased with the service because I even told them over the phone I was paying with cash.

Excellent. Clean, delicious, very nice place to eat. Beyond my expectations of the typical Chinese buffet for an excellent price. My friend an I ate the Saturday supper buffet for $20!! Great deal, excellent food. Would definitely recommend and will definitely go there again.

I've been coming here for about as long as I can remember,I will suggest this place to ANYONE.. Prices are good, food is AMAZING. You get exactly what you want, if you don't the older lady will always take care of the problem.. She is amazing.. This place deserves more recognition..

Went today, yum! This place needs to be recognized for what it is and what it does well. It is a mom and pop shop, with classic Asian restaurant decor and vibe. If you want new and shiny, it’s going to let you down. However, not appreciating the cafe as a diamond in the rough will be your loss. The food is fresh, traditional and delish at a ridiculously good price. We drive from Dubuque without hesitation. As for the “old lady” that works there...she’s a hardcore matriarch that maintains cultural standards quite nicely. I like it, it reminds me of shops in large metro areas. Technically, I’d give it a 4.5 ⭐️ just to keep them on their toes!

While going to school in Platteville, this was my favorite place to go out to eat in town, apart from the now closed Cold Fusion. Lots of very good food for a great price. I highly recommend going here if you aren't interested in buffet. The buffet is smaller than China Buffet, but still pretty good. Unfortunately, they are the same price. Also, to note with both places, some people do get an upset stomach (though Asian Cafe uses no MSG).

I’m not sure if it was just the time we showed up but noon on a Sunday you would think they would be changing the trays out every once in awhile. I mean I’m used to buffets where the food may sit out up to an hour.. but this place must have let it sit out much longer. The white rice was so dry from the heat lamps it was cracking like a rice cake. Most buffets leave the rice in the cooker.

Anyways if you want Cheap Asian food this place is not a bad stop, just take some Tums later.

We've tried several dishs now. They are often lacking in flavor and vegetables are over cooked. Simply put, it's subpar compared to other Chinese restaurants we've been to, unfortunately.

Food is delicious, best Asian food in Platteville. They have buffets 2 days a week, and the rest of the week its made to order. There is one lady who is pushy about taking your leftovers with you, which is weird but not that bad.

We wanted to order Shrimp Egg Fu Young and they said they were "To busy" to make it so I had to order something else off of the menu. If you want something that is on the menu it should be made regardless if it is inconvenient. Won't be ordering from here anytime soon.

I had beef and broccoli it was terrible the broccoli was cool but I don't know what that meat was, it tasted just like pure fat and had no beef flavor at all.I would never go there again, never, and the egg roll had no flavor should have been shrimp bad
