This place was recommended by my in laws so we stopped by before we headed back to Philadelphia. It is such a cute and delicious cafe that I wish we had this chain. I had the potato egg and bacon burrito with the iced coffee. The burrito came with a fresh salsa that was perfectly spicy. My coffee was nice and strong it almost tasted like cold brew.
My husband had the breakfast sunrise sandwich with a croissant bread. Everything is made fresh and made to order. You gotta try this place.

Today's visit was really great. I ordered a cappuccino and the baristas were very gracious to make me another one when the first cappuccino's shot was sour, and the second one I ended up with was pleasantly delicious. Thank you all! 😊

This place has an amazing location. There is a fire pit outside and fireplace inside. The staff is extremely friendly. Many of them over the years have taken the time to learn my name and great me in the morning. It is a great way to start the day.
I like to stop here and set up my mobile office as well. The WiFi is reliable and you can almost always find a spot to plug in your laptop if needed, regardless of how busy it is.

A regular spot for me to read and peruse email/social media. Popular & crowded sometimes, but street parking available in addition to the cafe lot. Must re-sign into wifi after an hour, but signal is always strong. Bonus: Simma's Bakery and a chocolate shop around corner & Jacobus Park within walking distance.

This colletivo is my favorite. It's a whole different vibe at this location. 😌. The food, drinks and coffee are AMAZING. Staff is always friendly. They have such a cute outdoors with a fireplace. Plenty of seating. Will always continue to come back

I miss the Collectivo when it was Alterra, when the food was good and the coffee was better. Now, the coffee is ok, somewhere between other local roasters and starbucks. The food is still good (both bites), but they hit it with an evil villin's shrink ray. For a price near a qudoba burrito I'd like something bigger than a cell phone. Atmosphere is as good as always.

Wow, normally I enjoy going to this location, because it was very Charming etc. I loved the 'dark chocolate frappes' they called them. They were pleasantly sweetened with a rich dark chocolate taste. I'm not from Milwaukee so I tried the one on the lakefront yesterday and it just wasn't the same, and I came to the West Allis location hoping to find this lovely drink, but I only discovered that they increased the price and it tastes like a Starbucks frappuccino. Very fake flavor and way too sweet.
Please go back!

I truly ABSOLUTELY love, Love, LOVE this place!!!!!
BEST COLECTIVO I'VE EVER BEEN TO!
(I saved the best for last and 2nd best in the middle do you've gotta read all of this!!!)
It has such a wonderful fun & friendly atmosphere to it. Tons of space for whatever your need are, whether just visiting, staying a while to work (alone or in a group - there's areas to find that are quiet where you won't be bothered & all the space you need), there's friendly people that come regularly, and will strike up a conversation if you want, outlets galore, of course free WiFi and great signal everywhere. There's outdoor seating, indoor seating, & even more unique - 1/2 of the building has garage-like doors for walls - they're all see through like a window, & even the weather is nice they open that half of the building up by lifting those garage-like walls up to create an open air space! It's so unique!! In there are couches, tables & chairs, counters with stools etc... It's great!!! I can't not forget to mention the great selection of drinks & food available as well! GREAT friendly employees too!! They also do a great job with supporting/promoting area fundraisers, helping local programs, and making sure people have plenty of space too put up small adds. Don't forget their rewards program as well. Now one of the best things for last, (In my opinion).... one thing that REALLY gets people looking at this Colectivo from off the street & distinguishes them, sets them apart from other places is this...
All the way from the depths of winter to middle of summer is their HUGE outdoor gas FIRE PIT!!!! It it's BIG!! So cozy, & so realistic, nice & warm when you need it, & So relaxing relaxing too for anytime of year! Great meditation tool, now I do love your "real" campfire with wood and all but it sure is nice to go relax and not come home smelling like smoke. :-) It's got tons of seating around it too, BIG long benches, four of them plus folks can even pull up a chair. It's just fun all around!
GOTTA GO SEE IT & EXPERIENCE IT
YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

I was looking for a local coffee spot and came up on Colectivo in my Google searches. So happy we came in. The staff here was all smiles, quite efficient, and their coffee was excellent! Everything was so wonderful I purchased a pound of Guatemalan coffee to bring home for my fiance because his family is from there. We both were quite impressed. Keep up the great quality Colectivo!
