Masks are required to enter the store. No big deal. If you're in the food court consuming beverages and pastries masks are not required. Eating food is the most likely time that a person will spread disease which is why we're taught to wash our hands BEFORE we eat, and why tables need to be sanitized after they are used, etc. What burns my backside though is how the staff treats you as they are enforcing these rules. They're very rude..
Where is the common sense? Open a book! I'm sure one of them in your store can shed some light on how viruses are spread. I would advise everyone who is thinking about going here to save yourself the hassle and expense and order off Amazon.

A beautiful place before covid shut down. Once had comfy chairs, coffee and books. Still has coffee and books, but the comfy is over.

I was disappointed when I walked in. Besides trying to find my way through the store I noticed more toys then books. When I asked for music discs I was told that they are not carrying any, except the ones on the special shelves right in front of the cashiers which wasn't much choice. The ambient is still the same: a store with books, but between all the toys and gifts to purchase, its not a book store any more...

It's a Barnes and noble, plain and simple. It's also got a Starbucks, and offers a great atmosphere. Books come at a reasonable price, and everything sold is great quality. The DVD section is pretty expensive, even older movies, but it, too, has a very vast selection of movies and tv shows.

Great place love the selection of books for our small town and the ability to order from the whole catalog of products.

A busy place, with a big central fireplace, coffee and treats and lots of good materials for all ages, including games, puzzles and such. It's always a fun place to go for that bit of free time when we are in Fairbanks with a schedule!

I love books and reading, this is one of my favorite places to go. I just wish their was one closer to where I live and I wish the people at the cafe weren't so rude when you ask if they take starbucks coupons.

This place is very posh. I haven't been inside of a Barnes and Noble for years, but it seems like it's more of an experience than it was before. You can grab a book a coffee and read by the fire place it's quite comfy.

The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful. Ivy is a great resource for the kids section, for example. Although it's a big chain bookstore the staff makes it feel not so 'corporate,' but it still peeks through every now and again.
