I had the Turkish coffee and cheese borek. Very good product and the service is so friendly! The most hospitable I've had at a café. Cozy and enchanting environment, perfect for lounging or studying, located in the Old World Village! check it out :)

My best friend and I were visiting this area and found this cute little coffee shop. The area surrounding it is so charming, with this shop being one of the hidden treasures. Musa was so kind and ecstatic to help. Both of our drinks (ice vanilla latte with oat milk and iced lavender latte with oat milk) were made to perfection. My friend and I are both baristas with years under our belts. I say that because the drinks were perfectly balanced between the organic espresso and sweetness of the flavoring. We tried the Turkish Cheese Borek and the Baklava. The Turkish cheese borek was warm down to the core and the flakiness of the pastry itself was really delicious. The baklava was sweet, fresh, and to die for. The environment was clean, classic, and calming. The music made us feel really relaxed while we sat in the cushiony seats. I also thought it was cool that the single origin beans are served within a week of roasting. I can’t stop talking about this coffee shop and I can’t wait to return in the future. Keep you the fantastic work. This place has truly perfected their art. 11/10 recommend!

As far a quality of coffee goes... this place possibly provides the best quality coffee in all of Orange County.
To start, serving all organic coffee is excellent.
Their single-origin cold-brew coffee has excellent flavor, and is also very strong. I usually drink more than half of it due to it's strength.
Their espresso is well made, however, it's compatriot,... Turkish coffee, steals the spotlight.
The Turkish coffee served comes served in a unique tea cup on a tea plate. Next to the teacup is a small cube of Turkish-delight
The Turkish coffee is very granular, and has a deep coffee flavor that is not acidic.
The cafe is located in what seems to be a German market plaza. Their is outdoor seating in the back, and sufficient options for indoor seating including high-chair tables, a sofa, a low table, as well as regular mid-seize tables.
Outside in the front of the cafe there are 2 benches as well. However, I'd suggest sitting in the back section of the cafe, if you prefer outdoor seating.
The staff there are excellent at addressing any questions and explaining the kind of coffee they have. You can tell the guy that works there (not referring to the owner) is a coffee enthusiast.
They a selection of food including baklava, snacks like nut bars that you may see at a Starbucks, and other sweets.

A quiet and cozy coffee shop tucked away in a quiet area.
This one may be a bit hard to find but I think that is part of the the appeal for this place. Located in "Old World" across from the Huntington Beach Costco, this small coffee shop is my favorite place to go as of late. The shop has a very cozy interior with enough seats to fit about 15 people. It is tucked away deep in the community and I don't see it get busy very often in the afternoons.
The coffee they serve taste very fresh and is very aromatic. I've tried their Turkish coffee and it is slowly becoming one of my favorite caffeine fixes. They also have a few pastries, and dessert foods that are great. Their baklava is good without being overly sweet and their rice pudding is a relatively light pudding with slight flowery taste.
I would have to say the biggest appeal this place holds for me is the location and atmosphere. Being slightly hard to find, it stays relativity quiet and it has some great comfy seats. This is one of my favorite places to go sit in quiet to study or read with some decent coffee.
The only negative I can think about the place is it may seem short staffed at times. There is generally only one employee working and when multiple people come in, it can get hectic for them. But ultimately, this is a place that you sit down and chill so if you are in a rush, I wouldn't recommend coming here.

Stopped by today (finally!)...
Pleasantly surprised. The shop is very cozy and welcoming, with seating in front and on the patio as well as ample seating inside. The cappuccino was above average and the baklava... Ah-mazing!.. I think this may be my new go-to spot. ❤️

Top-tier coffee and borek! I am so glad that I found this spot while visiting the area. The baklava are also far above the average baklava you will find. I was told that they have a Turkish chef who makes them. Highly recommended spot! The coffee was solid (and I have high expectations, coming from Seattle), and left with a tasty iced passionflower tea.

Favorite coffee shop in HB. You can tell the owner cares about people from the ethically sourced coffee (which can be hard to find in the area with the exception of a few other places), to the way you are welcomed and accommodated as a guest, and that he used to work in education for 20 years. This place is my go-to.

Friendly staff. The baklava was incredible. My only problem was the fly I found in the bottom of my Kyoto cold brew that I had to-go. The coffee itself was delicious. I will have to try the Turkish coffee if I ever make it back down.

Stumbled upon the Coffee Tale and it's a gem! Their organic coffee is delicious....love the Flat White. Ambiance, decor, and warmth make me want to return. Baristas are friendly. Great place to get some work done too!
