I don’t like to write bad reviews. In fact, I loathe it. Most places have a bad day once in awhile, Local Coffee house has been consistent with bad as of my past 3 visits. Today was the last visit for me, the straw being one of the worst sandwiches I have ever received, filled with inedible gristle and only taking 15 minutes in preparation. The staff seems to be equally bewildered, one of them complaining of feeling sick, while handling food. Time to improve. I won’t be returning.

Wow. Wow. Wow. I could say a million great things about this place but I’ll stick to a couple to keep this short. The beautiful young lady at the register(Maya) helped us pick out the exact drinks we wanted. When our drinks came they were hot, fresh and with a dash of absolutely amazing! Will be back 100 times over.

The atmosphere is noisy and crowded, but there is outdoor seating which is more pleasant. They offer interesting health beverages like turmeric latte which was excellent. It's convenient to walk to but parking can be a challenge if driving there.

This was one of my worst experiences in customer service. We arrived at Local for drinks after a 20 mile backpacking hike. We were eager for a hot drink and saw this coffee house’s high rating. Yay! It should be fantastic. We enter, approach the counter, and one of the employees asked what I would like to order. I start to reply when he turns and talks to his coworker making drinks. I wait patiently for him to turn back so I can finish making my order. I requested decaf espresso but they had run out so instead I ordered a small drink with one less shot of regular espresso. $6 charged. I look around at some of the retail, then sit down for 15 minutes. People are served their drinks. We go up to the counter to ask about our drinks. They have not started making them yet. 5 minutes later we receive our drinks with an apology. We start walking back to the car...the drink tastes terrible. We barely make it a few sips before throwing it away. We figure we can make something at home for less hassle and less money. Based on my experience, I would not recommend.

Loud noisy badly behaved children. Only offers single size drinks. The interior of the store was unbearable cramped and their restrooms were filthy (outdoors shared with other stores).
Coffee itself was fine.
To top it off this business gets their payment processor (square) to send spam email without explicit consent during store checkout. They don't understand why this is an issue. I did not sign up for their rewards program when prompted but still received solicitation email on top of the expected square receipt.

What a refreshing space! The natural light and rustic-meets-industrial decor make for a vibrant area to get some work done while sipping on snob-approved (and I mean that as a high compliment) coffees and espresso. Pro tip: If you're feeling peckish, the avocado toast is decadent.

Dropped in for an espresso in the afternoon. Charming place, great coffee. The people working here care about the drinks, the food and the customers. Prices are normal for Aspen. If you are into coffee you will like this place.

I’ve been here twice and I adore this place. Once of my favorites for coffee in Aspen.

Great drip brew coffee. Very friendly staff. The barista does some great latte art and has a great story to share. I would definitely come back... Might even go back again today.

Yes yes yes yes. Have I got the place for you. This Aspen coffee shop has everything you need to set your self above the rest. Hippy dippy avocado toast, yes. Locally made arts and crafts, yes. Organic free range coffee beans, yes. Not enough seats to accommodate all the hipsters so it seems more exclusive, of course!
You are going to swear you have been transported right to the heart of silverlake California.
If you enjoy a $4 latte and another $1.5 upcharge or oat milk than this is the place for you.
Fresh baked gluten free pastries, I'll take a dozen. 20 min wait for avocado toast, sure thing! Wait, its only $8 I feel like I'm ripping you off. Please let me pay more. $4 for a single egg, sounds about right. Thank you sooooo much.
Dont forget to bus your own tables, separate your recycling, whipe down the table and pet the dog on your way out.
See you again soon, bye bye.
