We purchased some reasonably priced bar stools from here. The staff was extremely helpful. They not only helped us pick out the barstools, but they also carried the stools from the back of the store to the front. I will be shopping here again!

I bought two chairs today. I love the style of them and they fit my petite self.. I went to American Furniture first, I saw nothing I liked. Looked online at Wayfair. All I liked was on back order. Now I need a cute table to go with them.
The store personnel help me load them into the back of my SUV. Very pleasant and cheerful young lady, thank you Amanda.

Great store for decorative pieces. Huge selection, however; quality of most items is low, not meant to last. Rugs and furniture are ok quality.

They have a lovely array of merchandise at good prices. However, their staff need some serious training in customer service. I went there for the first time yesterday and the checkout sales lady was so blasé. Not rude - but definitely disinterested. I had an 8 x 10 (heavy!) rolled up rug in my cart and she was having trouble scanning it (the code she wanted was at the bottom of the roll - kind of stuck into the corner of the cart). She basically just stood there helplessly while I tried to maneuver the heavy carpet to give her access. Note: I'm 64; she was about 35. I finally got irritated and flatly said, "Sorry, I can't move this any more - you'll have to figure it out." Which she did.
I paid for my order, then asked if she knew if the store carried any carpet pads. I specifically said I didn't want the ultra thin non-skid grippers (which is not a pad at all) and she assured me they carried thicker pads "in the rug department." She made no effort to guide me, but she might have been told to stay at the register, so I'll give her a pass on that one. I left my cart off to the side and hoofed it back to the rug department--where I searched high and low for a rug pad. I finally stumbled across another blasé employee and asked her for help. She led me over one aisle to... you guessed it! The super thin non-stick grippers which was exactly what I'd told Clerk #1 I did NOT want. When I explained to Clerk #2 what I was after and that Clerk #1 had specifically told me the store carried, she just shrugged and said, "no - we don't have those."
Fast forward an hour and I get the rug home, unroll it and the thing has a 2-inch hole in the center. At this point, I'm beyond done. The next day, I schlepped the 8 x 10 rug back to the store - about a 30 minute drive--and Clerk #3 acted like she was bestowing a great honor on me by issuing my return. No, "sorry for your trouble
The only staff person I saw there that had any kind of pride in his work was an older gentleman who retrieved my cart from me as I was hefting the rug into my car. He at least, wished me a good day and seemed reasonably happy to be there.
Nonetheless, I won't be returning.

The only good thing about this store is of how much stuff they have, color coded, and wide variety of housing decoration. Although, the staff and customers were absolutely rude!!! Would, and would not recommend going to this At Home store.

Lots to look at. It's a super center for home goods.
