Fresh Off the Grid

Beautiful view, fresh shaved ice, romantic music playing, cute little Christmas decor, friendly lady working it all. Iced coffee comes with coffee ice cubes, very creative. They even sell fresh fruit. Love love loved it.

This is a cute little shack in middle of nowhere, but it can be easily spotted from the road on your way to the Pololu valley. We decided to stop by this place on our way back. They not only offer shaved ice, but much more like homemade ice-cream, fresh juices and fruits, varieties of honey etc., which I was not expecting. In the end, I decided to go with strawberry and mango shaved ice with condensed milk and a spicy powder. While the shaved ice was much needed and refreshing in that heat, it wasn't the best I had. I could barely taste the condensed milk or the powder.

The best part of this place is the location. There is a nice seating area near the shack with brilliant views and cool breeze, which is rare to find. I wish I could have tried their other items, but if I ever go back, then I would definitely visit this place!

So wonderful after a hike. We tried a little of everything shake, banana split, smoothies. Don't get the brownie our you will go back for another and another. As if the view was not worthy of the stop alone we loved it.

Loved everything about this place. Ordered fruit plate, coconut, shaved ice and mac brownie. Taste of fresh fruits awsome. Coconut water, better than any soda out there. Kids loved the shaved ice. And macadamia brownie, you should try it. People managing the stand are very friendly. There is a pineapple stand right across the road. Don't miss it. Oh i forgot the ambiance. If you are a nature lover like me, you will just fall in love the ambiance. The best place to take pictures.

Stop here! The best road side smoothies and other fruits, ice cream, honey and baked banana bread! They also have these awesome mules and horses to visit. Highly recommend!!

Truly the most amazing, beautiful place my husband and I have ever been. Felt like heaven on earth. One of our favorite moments of our trip to Hawaii. The food is amazingly fresh and incredible. We spent an hour drinking fresh coconut juice, eating shaved ice and fruit and looking out at the ocean. A true gem.
