Sadly NOBODY wears a mask in this cafe....no I didn't go in to eat...I called ahead and ordered, my husband went to pick up the food. We only live 8 minutes away, however because they were so packed and so busy, our food sat on the counter and my husband waited for almost 20 minutes before being helped. The potatoes were soggy, the toast was burnt and it cost WAY more than it was worth! I highly reccomend to stay away!!

Love this little town Cafe. Food is always fantastic and very fast. Star is growing but they have done great keeping up.

Just a little town hole in the wall with good food. Nothing special to look at inside but the service is very good and the breakfast we had was very tasty. I like how the menu gives you options for lighter eaters. Also it gives choices if you want a certain dish as an omelet, a scramble, or a burrito. Nicely done.

This is the home of comfort food. The term "fat and happy" was coined here. Their burgers are amazing, the fries are perfect, and serving sizes are enormous. The servers make you feel more than welcome, and the prices are more than reasonable.

I ordered a meat lovers burrito. You can tell it was rushed the cheese wasn't even melted, and the ham was still cold. It tasted bland almost like they forgot to add any seasoning at all.

Big portions, good food. However, here is some constructive feedback....probably not a great idea to coach the waitresses in front of customers. I witnessed a waitress get coached for asking a customer "whatcha drinkin" instead of "can I get you something else to drink?" Now, I agree with the coaching, the latter question seems more professional and polite, but, coaching should be done in the back, out of view and ear shot from customers. It's not pleasant to hear employees argue while they're coached.

Great service, your order will arrive quickly and hot! The food was great. And this was right after Sunday noon. Will visit the Cafe again when traveling thru Idaho.
Preventing a 5 star, the coffee wasn't hot enough, cool down to fast when service in their heavy coffee cups.
Heavy suggest you visit the Country Star Cafe.

This place was fantastic!!! My sister and I stopped in for a bit of nostalgia and were instead met with amazing food, and the best service we'd ever received! The food was fresh and delicious, the portions were big (like they used to be everywhere), we both had to take home leftovers! Then the cook came out and chatted with us, and even though our glasses had never once gotten empty thanks to the awesome waitress, he checked on us too!
As we were leaving I was finishing my drink and the cook was there, he offered me a to-go cup... What place lets you take your leftover drink?! It was so worth the drive from Caldwell we plan to go back... a lot!

I have been to Star Cafe 2 times now, it's the best breakfast I have had. Love the Biscuts and gravy along with Eggs. But everything looked good that was being served.

Great Mom and Pop joint serving traditional American breakfasts. It's almost always busy with locals, happy wait staff, and hot coffee.
