Always Friendly with great food.

A gem in downtown Star. Parking, and seating room is a bit tight, but worth the small hassle.

The staff here were all so nice and welcoming to us! We showed up right at closing time unaware they closed so early on Sunday, as we are not from Star. They were very polite, told us not to rush, enjoy our meal, and didn't turn us away or make us feel like we needed to rush through and get out of there so they could close. Big smiles through out, and the food was delicious!

Been here a handful of times. The food comes out fast, and is always delicious. I'd give it 5 stars but today's service could have been better. We went for brunch this time. I sat myself and my family because when I walked in, I was ignored. Wasn't sure if I was suppose to seat myself for there was no sign saying so. I sat and watched other people come in, sit down, place their order before a young man came and asked if he could get us something to drink. I got up and got a single menu for my family to share myself. The young man must have tipped off our server, for 5 minutes later she came around. I have worked in the food industry and I understand what it means to give grace & receive it too. We'll be back. The art work is a splendar to look at if you like country living.

We really enjoyed this place. Great little country diner, lots of food that's really good. Plus the wait staff was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and very down to earth. Definitely recommended!

Very best hole in the wall and Idaho. No one makes better biscuits and gravy.

Went here on 3 /3/22. Your Gravy is Not good at all. It has a terrible flavor. The scrambled eggs were way over cooked. Not at all what we had hoped for for a mom and Pop breakfast place. 😕

I Love breakfast here!!! Everything I have had has been excellent, but in particular I've really enjoyed the ham and cheese omlet and biscuits and gravy. Yum!! And check out those cinnamon buns!! Friendly staff, delicious food, what's not to like? Home town eating at its best.

Service was friendly but my food was terrible! My "taco salad" appeared to consists of a burnt hamburger patty that was chopped into large chunks, a dollop of chili for beans, shredded lettuce, approximately half of an onion (diced), big chunks of tomato, a sprinkling of cheese, and teeny colored tortilla strips.

No salsa, no sour cream, no taco seasoning, in fact, nothing to indicate that this was related to Mexican food at all.

There was also no dressing served with it, but they were happy to bring me some regular salad dressing for it when i asked.

So if you want a chili burger served on a bed of lettuce and overwhelmed with onions, then go ahead and order the taco salad.

A great small town cafe. Amazing biscuits and gravy!! Eggs were expertly cooked and we home the home time feel. The place has a lot of history and has a great following.

The portions are large and yummy so bring your appetite.

As recently moved to this area, I can say with confidence that that place will be our go to diner.
