Really cute building with so much potential inside. Menu had too many options and was a little overwhelming (also no drip coffee/cold brew?). Service was good.

This place has seen many sides of me. From back in the day when I was young and drunk and having a blast, dancing circles around whatever riff-raff stopped in off the street that night.
Nowadays I go to AA meetings there! What a beautiful way to come full circle.
This place nurtures. Other reviews mention "vibes"... if you know about earth chakras and lay lines, then this spot is ripe for ya. Reiki af
I love the south side homies! Keep coming back ❤️

A cute little coffee shop. Amazing and creative flavors. They create an atmosphere, for sure. I loved chilling to The Cure & The Smiths. I live really far and was exploring all the forest preserves/old cemeteries in the area & I will definitely make my way back.

The owners were really sweet, food was phenomenal and coffee was prepared better than a Starbucks employee could ever hope.

This place has a very alternative/hipster feel to it. When we went the staff was 2 guys behind the counter. I enjoyed my latte but my wife wasn't too happy with her frozen coffee. She said it felt more like a shake. I drank it for her. 😂
The hot chocolate was also good. It is a little pricey and we could overhear the conversation from the staff. .they did tone it down when we were there but you can tell it's colorful conversation.
There's also slot machines there and artwork for sale on the walls.
I was a little disappointed that the nice looking sofa area was behind a wall and was only for employees. Why not have something like that for customers?
My latte was delicious so I will go back when the mood strikes again.

Always friendly and always delicious. Good sized menu, not overwhelming but there’s definitely something for everyone. The woman also gave us a free slice of carrot cake and it was amazing. I’ve been going for years and it has yet to let me down.

I was excited to experience the coffee house. As I've driven past it many times. My first impression walking through the door was that it was a hip and chill atmosphere. Fun decor.Radio playing them jams but I was disappointed at standing at the counter for 30 seconds without being acknowledged. I felt like a bother.
On a lighter note the pumpkin cheesecake was delicious and my ice coffee was just great after adding extra lavender or any lavender to begin with (as my order was not correct off the bat.)
Would I return? Yes. Everyone deserves a second chance. ☕ 🥧 🎲

I want to start off by saying I've frequented this establishment on and off for roughly 14 years; including a period where I attended almost religiously from the time I was 16 to sometime in my early 20s. Anyone complimenting the vibes here now must not have been around back in the early 2010s because oh my goodness are the vibes OFF now. I'm fine with the sectioned off area for employees, although I think it's kind of weird to have the best area of your indoor seating dedicated to that, but the addition of the slot machines where the second-best seating area used to be is an awful decision. The crowd here is so different from what it used to be, maybe it's because all the millennials grew up and moved away but Jesus even the staff vibes are different. Also, they close at like 11 or something now when they used to be open until 1am, but even that is arbitrary since it seems like they open and close whenever they want. I will say that the drinks are still good and the baked goods have definitely leveled up in recent years. Anyone impressed by this place, please know that it is a shell of what it used to be.

Just a off the road coffee shop, that's perfect for a stop and talk. So much personality, pack in a pleasant space. 👍

The invasion of Starbucks has made coffee shops much more lackluster and predictable. The days when coffee shops were cultural centers for bohemians are mostly long gone. Now most coffee shops are about as edgy as McDonalds,. But this place still has a whiff of an alternative atmosphere and it is one of the truly distinctive coffee shops on the south side that is far from a university. I actually hear intellectual conversations there occasionally as well. The staff are also fascinating and one of the servers has many marvelous stories connected to being a roadie. It is worth going out of the way to meet friends here, The only downside is that is somewhat pricey.
