Ashbary Coffee House

Decent place. The mocha syrup used for my drink wasn’t of stellar quality. The baristas are really sweet and thoughtful. Would be back to try something else on the menu.

Great staff. Plenty of seating. Nice outside sitting. Lots of options for drinks. Lice the atmosphere. Speciality nights and tarot card reading.

There are several online sources for their hours - some listed under Ashbary Coffee House and others under Ashbary Coffee House Bar. Also between Google and Facebook the hours differ. Some sources say they open at 8am, others 10am, I arrived there at 9:45 with a group (thinking they opened at 8am on the weekend) and we wanted to wait until 10 to see if it opened.

At 10:05 someone walked up and unlocked the door, and instead of just saying sorry that they were running late to open, said "Are you waiting for us to open? Sorry, we're not a very good business..."

Finally, since they had just arrived to the shop, obviously nothing was ready for service so instead of waiting another 10-20 minutes for coffee to brew, we decided to leave.

It was such an oddly off-putting experience. I remember this being such a cute coffee shop, and I was really excited to come for the bar/music that I've been seeing them promote on Facebook. Maybe I will try again in the summer, and update my review if needed.

But maybe call before you go to see what's up and if they are open!

I just moved here from Texas and this place is AWESOME! The staff and owners are great, their venue is charming and unique, and their paninis are great too. Definitely looking forward to spending more time here.

Really great coffee! Great place to chat or study. They have so many drink options!! You can never go wrong with an Iced Chai ! The staff is also super cool!

If your looking for place to sit down and enjoy a nice meal on the sun side of the prarie and be plaid, go here cause you will bring out your wild side as you sit in this great music as you hear great Alternative/Rock/Metal scene. Got dark color wear vibes? Got sick Tattoos and piercings? Love to bop your head with your Mohawk? You come to the right place.

Where do i begin with this one, here's another true story about this lovely Laid-back cafe in Willow Springs, IL located in Old Willow Shopping Center that also has vintage furnishings and local artwork, and serving the most breath taking paninis & barista drinks in the area. My recent visit was to support a local band that was performing at this location. Upon arriving we got introduced to an amazing setlist of good music playing in the background, it took me back to my high schools years. We order a sandwich called American Graffiti but what i got was an experience by itself, first of all the size was Big!! good points already, but the flavor, the flavor was in another level. The combination of ham, turkey, roast beef, salami, mayo, dijon, american cheese with a single lettuce all laid on a toasty piece of bread, was fireworks in my mouth. you can't see it but i'm doing the chef's kiss gesture. you know when you eat too much toasty bread, the roof of your mouth starts to hurt, well my friends... if its not hurting you are not eating the right food. by the time i took my last bite i was so happy with my decision that i wanted to buy another one for the next day so i can experience the same feeling i had that night. The place is worth the drive if you live in the city. if you come in the morning you can always take a little walk on the many forest surrounding this lovely coffee shop. We plan on returning many times to come. Thank you

It's a very good place I tried a banana chocolate chip cookie and a "fried green tomatoes" wrap and both were amazing I think for being a meatless wrap it was an amazing wrap! Also the fun thing is that the banana chocolate chip was perfect! Also the coffee is really good! Id stop by this place if you have time and want to relax a little!

Even though I was there ten minutes before it closed, the staff still managed to give me a muffin and some cookies! We had dropped by for ice cream but was told ice cream was closed up - note to all businesses that employ teens/young adults as your cashiers - it’s true this age bracket is typically cheaper labor but they don’t understand the value of a sale. When faced with providing a customer what they want or closing early, they will always pick closing early. Better to employ people who have your bottom line in mind and those are people who will make the full menu available until a minute after you close.
