Blue Moon Café

Upon arriving, you order at the front counter and choose a table. Luckily, we were able to get seared indoors right away. They do have some outside tables available but this place fills up fast. You have your choice of several types of coffee to choose from. I had the Denver Omelette, which is often my go-to for breakfast. I wish there were more potatoes that came with the meal. Overall we had great service and excellent food!

We highly recommend breakfast on the deck. The blueberry pancakes and blueberry muffins are incredibly good!!! The entire crew were very friendly and courteous.

I ate breakfast at this place every morning while I was in Boothbay. It was That good! I was having to eat gluten free on this trip and the GF pecan crusted French toast was my go-to with a side of scrambled eggs w/spinach. The views of the harbor are unbeatable on the outside patio. Also, family owned and run by a great group of folks!

My partner and I visited blue moon cafe and were amazed at not only the quality of food, but also the service. We had the lobster roll and blueberry pie for dessert. This is easily one of, if not the best meal we’ve ever eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment!

Had a wonderful breakfast here with delicious and hot lattes! Service was great, food came fast, beautiful views, reasonable prices and everything was delicious!

Blue Moon is an adorable little cafe situated on the water with helpful, friendly staff. Food was all incredible- especially the blueberry pancakes, omelettes and corn beef hash. Such a nice little family owned spot, can’t wait to come back for lunch!

What an unprofessional and childlike response to my honest review and multiple other diners’ reviews. What a sad way to conduct and manage a business . If you act like this to the people who give you business , I completely understand why the staff was so disappointing - it’s a reflection of weak leadership .

I was really happy with our lunch here. I thought the service was bad at first, but realized it was just gruff, and nothing wrong with that. The crab melt was great, and pretty reasonably priced for being crab and being here. We went to a place that ended up being three times as much for dinner another night, but Blue Moon was three times as good. This is my kind of place, and I'd come back here any time.

We got here a tad too late to enjoy breakfast (ends at 11 am). No big deal- we were just as excited to have lunch instead! I'm a classic rueben lover and was amazed at how much I loved the haddock rueben. It came with chips and some slaw, which was really well done and obviously made in house.
