Small, venue. Staff do not mind if you join tables for a larger group. Good for a lunch with a few friends. Small but delicious menu. Friendly staff. Great coffee selections. Overflow parking in the rear. Counter ordering.

My wife and I enjoyed some great coffee and sandwiches while we dined in last week. The staff where all very pleasant and the place was spotless. Easy parking and accessable with ramp and stairs. Current covid-19 guidelines were being followed.

I have never had better food in my life! The egg and biscuit sandwich and it was phenomenal! Oh and the Galla Pinta is the bomb dignity!! It’s a great way to start the day and gives you great feelings! The service is wonderful and I’m so grateful for this place I stumbled upon while on my way to work!

There is so much charm in this family owned coffee shop, you can kiss that other place goodbye! There is a full menu, and you are invited to relax and stay for a while. Sit down and remember what it used to mean to enjoy a cup of coffee!

Many coffee shops worldwide offer that small cozy shop experience. However, Pura Vida definitely revolutionizes that feeling and delivers nothing short of excellence in every aspect of service. Their food is delicious, the atmosphere makes you want to curl up in a blanket with a book, and the Costa Rican coffee has such a fantastically unique flavor, that its ruined all store brands for me. Their Chipotle Turkey Sandwich is definitely a community favorite! But what really makes this shop stand out is their staff. It's a family run coffee shop and they absolutely make you feel like part of the family. The staff is always welcoming and they genuinely care how you are doing. The manager, Wes, has a passion for coffee and seems to be a friend of every resident of Hagerstown! You could not ask for a better coffee shop experience! I've been a regular for a year and will continue to go frequently for many years to come.

Update: Still wonderful and a very comforting place to eat out during the Covid Pandemic. Great staff, good food and excellent coffee.

Not sure what you are looking for but it's a good comfortable coffee shop with a good story and cute stuffed sloths everywhere. The menu is based in Costan Rican cuisine, simple but delicious. Still trying to find my favorite blend but rarely disappoints.

Great coffee shop. Wes the owner really knows his stuff when it comes to coffee. A welcome change from gas station and chain store coffee off of 81.

Great selection of treats as well. I had a delicious gluten free trail bar.

Pura Vida has the best breakfast sandwiches and their coffee is great, too! They always have an array of delicious baked goods, as well! Dog friendly patio and such friendly staff!

My Top pick for best coffee in the Hagerstown area. They actually know how to make a proper macchiato along with any other standard espresso drink. Their cinnamon rolls (good lord) are most likely made in heaven but I can’t confirm. They also do fresh in house food and sandwiches. Make sure you support this local family owned business!

I have enjoyed every visit. I meet friends from my Church for breakfast and the food and service is great. Very clean and inviting.
