Lotus Brew Coffee/ Dry Bar

I’m a pretty harsh critic of coffee shops and products, which is why I don’t have many of those reviews on my page. Generally speaking, I’ve narrowed my criteria to vibe, then product, recognizing supply chain, cost and other variables in my personal assessments. What I admire about Lotus Brew is that a lot of thought seems to have gone in to the business structure. Whether it’s food and drink offerings and brands, events, hours, or staff - care and thought has been put into it.

All that to say, there are a wide variety of drinks and everything I have tried has hit the mark. The cold brews are very good even without milk or syrup, and I think my favorite seasonal drink so far has been the lavender lemon matcha latte, iced.

Food options are in line with a cafe - very good bagels with real butter, quality pastries and options for those with special requirements like low sugar, and dairy-free. I should note they carry almond milk. They also have a menu of mocktails.

The vibe is cozy and option-filled as there is a well stocked library, a community board full of diverse locals to support, a good amount of seating. The events are likewise diverse and thoughtfully community-focused.

I frequent Lotus Brew, and savor its offerings.

Very nice staff. Excellent coffee. They make my favorite mocha in town. The atmosphere is very inclusive and inviting. All in all just a great place.

My favorite coffee place! Great drinks and very welcoming. So many little things make this place unique - the books, the board games, the community pantry, the "kindness cup" program. A must-visit for coffee, tea, mocktails, and atmosphere.

Stumbled upon this place while trying to get tea/coffee with a friend, glad to have made the stop here and taken the time to eat inside. One of a kind shop that supports its community and provides a strong message of inclusivity and support for all that need it. Will come back when in the area for the peacefulness and great coffee, not to mention a delicious bagel

This place is amazing. The energy is immaculate, the staff is genuinely kind, and the drinks are absolutely delicious! They also have a free lending library and food pantry. Amazing, amazing, amazing!

A sunny spot next to the zoo with delicious coffees and mocktails, a free lending library, and food pantry. They do a lot of good in the city and are a safe space for the queer community.

I'm so happy this space exists. I keep trying to seek public spaces for adults that don't revolve around alcohol. This is a very welcoming, community-forward space with delightful coffees, teas, and NA cocktails. Lotus will become a regular stop for me when I'm in town.

Lotus has been a weekday reprieve - wonderful to enjoy company, coffee and conversation. Truly a space with the heart of the community in mind and living out their safe space values. Highly recommend!!

I love the atmosphere of this little coffee house. The staff are very pleasant. Don't be in a rush grab a drink and go.
