Best cup of coffee in REO Town! Great space and a big menu with lots of options. All the employees were super sweet and welcoming

Blue owl cafe is a great coffee shop. I do wish they had a slightly better selection of non coffee drinks. What they do have is fantastic. Some of the best caoco I have ever had, good teas, and I hear their coffee is good.

The staff seems to like their jobs and are always happy to talk a bit.

Blue owl never disappoints with any of their specialty coffees. They have a variety of interesting flavor combos that always land perfectly on your pallet. They don't just try to throw flavored sugar at you to make you think it tastes great (like most of those other places...). They go the extra step to really balance interesting flavors with some complex ingredients. This is where I go when I want a special treat for sure.

Love love love, but closes early sometimes! No biggie just closes @ 6PM often so I figured I’d note it. Other than that, 10/10 coffee, the environment is amazing, the owners are the best!!! My favorite coffee shop in all of Lansing!!!

Long time customer and I used to live in the neighborhood--I miss being able to walk to Blue Owl! I'm so glad they are allowing call in orders now, it's a great way to save time. They have some delicious and unique beverages and put a lot of care into their drinks. It's a very good place to people watch in a fun art centric neighborhood. I've seen others mention they could use some better baked goods and I would agree with that. I think there are options for some great collabs to create some tasty diversity!

Not being from the area, I found myself feeling so comfortable in there. Sat by the window for what felt like ever and had drink after drink then an everything bagel. What a friendly and kind staff. Wonderful place

I dont usually go to these small coffee shops. They are always too intimidating for me. I never know what to order.

The owner of the Robin Theatre, Dylan, told me the places was good so I thought I would check it out.

I order a hot cocoa... and it was the best I ever had. It was sooo good, I had to go back twice in one week.

One of the times I took my wife because I wanted her to taste the goodness of Blue Owl. She ordered the holiday latte (or something like that) and she said it was one of the best things she had. She just hated that it had to end.

This shop has great coffee and is a nice addition to REO town.

I had their cortado and their non alcoholic espresso shot- the cortado was pretty good, but the shot (I got the Dubliner- which is cream, espresso, and spice). The drink was way too spicy for me- it’s a hit or miss when cinnamon is involved in drinks.
They also had some baked goods- got the peanut butter cookie. It’s a big cookie for one person, but tasted good.

I love this place. The have the most original recipes in town and I've never tasted one I didnt completely love. The atmosphere is friendly and open and inviting. You can see people working on school projects or writing a book, or theres a large table in the back if you want to hold a small meeting. The staff is awesome and seem like they're truly glad to be there. I get coffee here anytime I'm in Reo town. It's an awesome place I just wish there was more locations in town.

Great selection of coffee great atmosphere exactly what you would expect from a gourmet coffee house. Friendly staff super helpful, let me bring in my own beans once because my grinder broke and brewed me a cup.
