Kaldi's Coffee

I've been going here for years. The coffee if great, the food is good. Their wifi is consistently bad though. Like many, I go here for more than just the coffee, so not being able to load a basic website can be frustrating. Yet I keep coming back.

Go to Fretboard (great coffee!) At Kaldi's, the coffee is mediocre at best. The staff, which are mostly young college kids, are rude. They just stand behind the counter talking while you're waiting to be served. Free wifi is a pain to get on and slow. Food is gross. Go to Uprise, Ernie's, or Main Squeeze instead. Lots more better spots in CoMo for coffee and food than this joint.

I come here to study once in a while, and the servers are always kind^.^
The restrooms need some TLC and a good air freshener though. My OCD and I were tempted to start srubbing the sticky floors and get the place more pleasant smelling/looking.

Went at 9:00 am and the coffee was already burnt. They dumped a bunch of sugar into it to try and cover up the taste, but it didn't work. Very pretty building in a beautiful city, but very bad, bitter coffee.

Great coffee and most of the employees are friendly. The place just isn't big enough anymore and they need more seating or a second location - it can get really loud and really packed most days.

Kaldi's is the goat when it comes to your coffee / breakfast needs. I have placed an order here everyday this week for 3 gallons of coffee each day and they have such friendly service, are very accommodating and give you cups, stirs, sugar, and half & half.

Good service and location. Does not have a very large menu, but it does include several vegetarian items. My favorite item was the chocolate mint frappe, which they removed from their menu a few years back. :(

I did not enjoy the chocolate peanut butter smoothie. Next time will have to try a signature coffee. Cool interior in downtown Columbia to relax.

Go-to for espresso drinks and light breakfast and lunch fare. The real magic is the single origin beans, just ask for them when you order anything coffee based here and you won't be disappointed.

Very good coffee. In general, their coffee does seem to be higher in caffeine than others. Nice place, good service, lots of choices.
