Just relocating to the central west end area and I can honestly say, this is hands down the best place to get work done on the computer. It’s quiet enough where you can have calls (I usually use headphones) and there is plenty of space/ seating.
They’re actually open right now, unlike many other places with covid. There’s also tons of free parking al around which is unheard of in this area!
Their house coffee is also amazing. I’m not a fan of baked good, frappes and things of that nature but I can tell by everyone seated around me that they are amazing too.
10/10 recommend.

It was so great meeting Leah and Jason, the owners of the Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea on the Grove. My family rented an AirBnB around the corner from there and although it was supposed to have a coffee pot, I am ultimately glad it didn't. It gave me the opportunity to walk down the street to Sweetwaters in the morning. They have amazing coffee drinks and made a special chocolate milk for my mother who was with us. It was so good, I returned that afternoon with my daughter and she loved the Dragon Eye which was made into a smoothie type thing. I don't know much about fancy coffee but this place has something great and at a good price. I was a starbucks fan but I'm a Sweetwaters fan for sure now. Friendly, helpful, amazing people. Much love to y'all.

We stopped in to check out this new cafe/coffee option open in the Grove. We'll definitely be back! The staff was friendly and attentive, the beverages (the apple cider chai drink and a hot chocolate) were delicious, the space is roomy (has that post-industrial vibe, with a lot of windows to keep the place bright), and they even had live music when we were there (Saturday afternoon/early evening).

Love stopping in at Sweetwaters!
Everyone is so friendly, and all the drinks and treats I’ve tried so far(which is a lot) have been amazing!
Plus the whole atmosphere is wonderful. It’s a great place to study, and/or bring a few friends to catch up.

Coffee is ok. My current criticism would be the young girls working behind the counter constantly being very loud. Hard to focus here with their loud conversation and very disruptive loud giggles. Going to have to leave because it's just too hard to get work done.

Excellent coffees, teas, service, and my favorite place to study. They've done a great job crafting a really cozy and welcoming environment to work or chill in.

Had the dirty drink and it hit the spot on a >100 F day. Lots of other options too!

Fantastic coffee! Very quite environment which I didn't personally enjoy that much. But there were a lot of people sitting around and working.

Overall great drinks and food. Super friendly staff too! There are few things, though, that have made me give it only 3 stars. 1. Tables are not spaced out to adhere to COVID guidelines. They are very close to each other and definitely NOT 6 feet apart. Since people are taking off their masks to eat/ drink you would think they would make this a priority. Pretty concerning and unsafe 2. Where’s the matcha??? The matcha lates here are not good. Maybe I’m used to an over concentrated amount (at Starbucks, Kaldis, etc.) but the drinks are barely green and only have the faintest matcha flavor. Ordered a couple of times and it’s always the same result. All other drinks I have had though are pretty good. Like their chai latte! I hope the owners/ managers see this review and fix these problems, especially the spacing of the table.
