My wife and I love Flour and Salt. We used to live in Hamilton, but now we live an hour away and sadly can't go as much as we used to. Whenever we get the chance we make sure to stop and get super tasty bagel sandwiches and excellent Peak's coffee! Also, hands-down the best banana bread ever.

This is my kid's second home. The people here are so friendly to my kids, it always makes me smile. I can't get bagels from anywhere else or my kids don't like them (are these from Flour and Salt?)
They will be next time. Also, order a cake. It takes time, but is worth all the time.

Liked this spot until Friday Oct 9 at 10am. Spent $20 on bagels and coffee. The drip coffee was Luke Warm at best. We nicely asked if we could have a hot one. The Barista girl with tattoos on knuckles refused repeatedly. REALLY? A 20 cent redo to lose a long time customer. Remember rude COFFEE GIRL, customer service is everything.

the food is amazing & super tasty, but i took off a star because they have messed up my online order probably around 6 or 7 times. the online orders are also almost never ready for the time you schedule pick up. i’ve also noticed some of the staff just standing around doing nothing when there’s 20+ people waiting which is very disappointing & frustrating. the quality of the food does make up for it a little bit at least.

This place is amazing!! The bagels are excellent and the staff is so sweet. I wasn’t expecting the cappuccino to be as good as it was either. I will be back!!

Flour and Salt has the best sandwiches. I love the unique combinations of ingredients and the fact that they use local produce. The honeybee coffee is my go to drink order and it never disappoints.

I like this cafe / bakery. The goods are delicious, but I have to say, my recent visit caused me to be puzzled as to their approach to customer service at the point of the checkout. It was a simple thing, really. I purchased 4 separate items: 1/2 dozen bagels, 2 pastries, a jar of preserves and a container of cream cheese. As I had to park quite a distance, I asked if the items could be put together in one bag. The young lady checking me out pointed to a stack of different sized bags three steps from her on a little shelf unit, and said, "sure, there they are". So, aware of the line of people in back of me, I felt hurried to put away my change, handle my wallet, my phone used for a gift certificate, gather up the 4 different items / packages and transfer them to the other counter, as she stood watching me. After watching me struggling a bit, and perhaps realizing the awkwardness of my situation, she then, in what I considered to be begrudgingly, picked up the jar and cream cheese container and transferred them over for me. As I walked away, I wished I hadn't placed the $1 in the tip jar. But the bagels - they were delicious. Next time, and there definitely will be a next time, I'll bring along a shopping bag.

Excellent food, easy online ordering process. Definitely the spot to order amazing breakfast sandwiches exactly how you like them, creative and delicious coffee creations and baked goods. Highly recommend!

Phenomenal bagels. Fast service even when there's a line out the door.

When I went, there was a Colgate event happening and it was very crowded. Altho the workers were doing their best to help people there was still a wait and there was no definite waiting line so I kept getting pushed back. I saw mostly bagels and sandwiches on the menu on the wall. Also tho, on the healthier side, the was different "ice creams" made with goat milk and such. I will try to visit again.
