My husband requested Nanyea’s for his birthday dinner last night. We’ve been meaning to try it for a while now and without a doubt this was a fantastic choice! The food was excellent and the staff was so kind and helpful. We shared beef and chicken tibs as well as various veggie sides. We will be going back!

Love this place! I almost don't want to write this review because it's going to drive so much attention to this quaint restaurant and it's going to lose the ambiance. So with that said, yuck eww, don't go to Nanya. Food made me sick. Sick with delight cause it's so freaking good and the staff is amazing. I might have a crush on one of the women who work there.

The owner and waitress are very nice and will accommodate customizations to dishes. Everything I've had has been excellent! Give them at least a 24 hour heads up notice if you'd like gluten free bread.

Good food, relaxed atmosphere. Our server worked with us, as newbies to this experience, and was very polite. Be patient with the service. The food is worth it...

Fabulous food and service made our birthday celebration extra special. Great place for vegetarians and vegans, plus they can provide gluten free injera bread if you ask a day in advance. Our new favorite restaurant in Dayton!

Ethiopian food has never so bad....I ordered Tibs and is was burnt like jerky and the Kitfo was stuck together like big clumps of meat.... Mot to mention no flavor!! Very disappointed in the presentation! Thanks but no thanks...

I'm in town for business and love going to local places. Nanyea's Restaurant and Coffee House was amazing! The food was delicious. The Ethiopian Coffee was amazing, and I loved that it was served with incense. Very great and cool experience. Highly recommend.

Very good. Nicely, a little spicy, and interesting flavors. Really enjoyed the lentils and split peas

It's a nice place for small groups to meet because it's quiet. They serve tradtional Ethiopian food, chopped meat and/or vegetables served on a spongy crepe-like piece of bread. Dinners pick up handfuls of food with strips of bread. I really liked the chicken. Be warned: a number of the dishes contain jalapenos or hot chilis, but the servers will work with you. They don't serve alcohol at this point in time.
