The food was wondeful! We got a sampler platter, and everything was delicious. The staff was attentive and kind. Our waitress explained the menu and everything on our sampler platter, and made great suggestions about what to order. The music was a bit loud, but overall the experience was positive. I would highly recommend.

Excellent food and friendly staff! I had the Rice with Chicken Tibs. It is spicy; go with mild to play it safe or medium if you like running close to the edge. I was not at all familiar with Ethiopian food before eating here, so I had no idea what I was getting myself into. The flavors are spectacular! Bring a group of people so you can try a little of everything.

This is a unique dining experience in Dayton. My first adventure into Ethiopian cuisine, I can't speak for its authenticity, but I can vouch for the quality of food. If you've never had Ethiopian food before, the food consists of meat and/or veggies in a thick sauce, which you eat using a thin, pancake-like bread. Rip off a piece of the rolled bread and use it to pick up bites of the tasty entree. The shop owner is happy to walk you through your first experience, too. I should mention that while the food is very flavorful, it's not too "spicy" in the heat-sense.

Sorry, I don't have a photo. I got too excited when it arrived and ate it before I thought to snap a pic. But the presentation is beautiful, especially if you're dining with a group, which is a great way to try lots of varieties of this delicious cuisine.

Very delicious. Coffee(s) were excellent. Vegetable lunch plate and chicken tibs were an excellent late lunch / early dinner decision. And who doesn't love eating with their hands! :) Definitely will return.

Excellently prepared food; had the vegetarian combo and each item was perfectly seasoned! Compared to other Ethiopian restaurants I have been to recently, each dish had a unique flavor profile. We'll be going back again soon!

The food was amazing - so comforting & delicious. The lady that served us was so sweet & hospitable. Even my 3 year old ate the food. We got the chicken & veggie platter with a fruit smoothie. I would recommended to friends and family. Definitely will be back for more!

Sooo good! I was so happy to find a restaurant with vegan options and I love Ethiopian food so it was a double score! Service was fast also

Have been wanting to try new and different foods so bad, and read about this place in the Dayton magazine. Well, it was absolutely delicious! The staff was very nice, and the food was great! So happy that we gave this place a shot! Kids and the husband loved it! And we definitely plan on coming back!

Not child friendly. They only had one broken high chair and no changing table. Appetizer was burnt. Waitress was not friendly. Chose to leave after drinks and appetizers since there was no where to safely put the baby.
