I didn’t actually patronize this coffee shop, however I was in desperate need of a restroom mid run during the Rt 66 marathon, and the employees were kind enough to let me stop in knowing I wouldn’t be buying anything. Great show of community support!!! Additionally, even the customers cheered me on on my way out!
Super cute environment. Wish I was in the area longer to stop in and actually support the business. But 5/5 for friendliness from me!

always a great experience at shade’s of brown! the atmosphere is so chill and you don’t get the pretentious vibe of some of the other coffee shops that are popping up. a lot of little coffee shops these days are the kind that give off the impression that if you don’t already know something about coffee, you don’t deserve to learn it or enjoy your experience. not at shades of brown! the baristas are knowledgeable and approachable, and if you don’t know what you’re in the mood for they’re happy to give a helping hand! i take everyone here when i get the chance! my dad is always talking about “that place you took us with all the mugs” and asking when the next time we can go is going to be. everything is good- but if you’ve never had it, try the bhodi. it’s what i’ve got so many people hooked on :,)

One of the few local coffee shops that stay open late in tulsa! Batista is always super friendly, seems like a rarity with coffee spots these days.

They have the best oat milk chai latte in Tulsa. I have been to manybof the places here and noone comes close. Super dog friendly thats the best thing

Google says menu highlight: bannana bread. Went way out of my way to come here and no bannana bread. False advertising designed to scam and steal

Mediocrity hiding behind pretension. I recently returned after a few years and am so disappointed by the entitled staff and downgraded product.
Such a shame, this used to be a really great spot, and I do love their support for local artists.

Not from Tulsa. But here’s why I gave it 5 stars
Customer service: phenomenal. Very friendly and helpful. They even gave us suggestions on places to go, since we aren’t from Oklahoma
Drink quality: the drinks were delicious and hot. They were served in a timely manner. Side note. I couldnt decided between a chai latte or state fair (their apple cider with caramel) so the barista suggested combining the drinks. I did and it was really good. We decided to call it a Chaipple Latte
Cleanliness: the coffee shop was clean and I didn’t notice anything wrong or filthy. It was also decorated well

Cute espresso drink creations. Yummy local pastries. Local art on the walls. Very eclectic - lots of seating/tables/couches. Always a cool barista behind the counter!

Love the espresso and atmosphere here. Great place for catching up or zoning out with a book. Max was awesome!
